Great dinner experience. Steaks / prime rib were cooked perfectly and seemed larger than advertised. We also had pasta and it was good as well. The potato skins are delicious as well. This place is recommended if you are in the area.

Service was great. Waitress was very friendly during weekday lunch. Decor was older and quite a bit worn. Famous salad bar in a bath tub: Definitely not as good as I expected. VERY few options and toppings were old. Very tasty catfish sandwich and fries. Cheese curds are a great appetizer here.

Very good food. Loved the taste of the steak. The salad bar is so awesome. Not tons of choices but that’s what’s great about it. Simple and the best part, it’s in an old bath tub. Cowboy themed place, they have ties hanging from the ceiling. If you wear a tie in there they will cut it off and hang it up. Decent prices.

The place was great all together. Their atmosphere was great. And one of the waitresses taught me how to do a french braid. Also she said it for me. She was very nice. Their food was also very good.It came out hot and yummy. They have a wide variety of food. They also have a kids menu, that has a coloring space and also a cowboy on a rocking horse to color.

Ate their twice while on vacation. The burgers are awesome…..definitely fresh. The second time was for dinner. One of the best steaks I have ever had! Would have given them 5 stars except for the service. Was never asked how our meal was or if we wanted another drink. Regardless the main menu food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Kudos to the chef.

Passing through today, we were looking for some good fried fish to enjoy for dinner along the Mississippi. We found this place and took a seat at the bar. The bartender started complaining to us about other customers before even taking our order. Okay, I don’t mind much, I can relate to the food service struggle.
Once the food was ready, we tried to eat, but three employees were sitting right next to us complaining and talking so loud to each other that I couldn’t even hold a conversation with my friend. I’ve of course eaten at a lot of bars before without this problem.
We picked up and moved to the back dining area, and tried to enjoy our meals, but my $14 “grilled” whole catfish plate was lukewarm, undercooked, and a chore to separate from the bones. There is more to describe, but I won’t bother.
Like others have said, the food is lacking, which is a shame. The kitchen manager should step up the quality, since this could be more than a divebar greasy spoon.

20 years ago, this was our go to steak place, then we had 2 consecutive poor dining experiences. Today, we went in to try again. We are sorry we did. The quality of food and service has dropped since our previous disappointments. Our waitress delivered our order to 3 of the 5 occupied tables, leaving our plates at each before finally bringing them to ours saying “these must be yours” & dropping the plates in front of us. I asked if they were still hot after their long journey. She frowned without speaking, turned and headed outdoors for yet another cigarette. My steak was barely room temperature on arrival. After 10 minutes, I tired of waiting for her return and went looking for a manager. When I asked the hostess that my steak be rewarmed, I was told she wasn’t my server although she did take my plate away . On my way back to my table, I observed the cook continually wiping his nose and adjusting his greasy hair with his ungloved hands. I’m horrified at their concept of sanitation, service, and food quality. Definitely NOT recommended!!!

A really quirky little dive place. But good burgers. Disappointing salad bar. Don’t wear a tie, they will cut it off and add it to the collection. They decorate with them. There are come good views. Descent price. Usually pretty quiet at lunch time during the week. Doubt if I’ll make a special trip to eat there, but if I’m in the area it’s a good shot.

Great dive bar, terrible restaurant. Wish they’d revamp their cooking game and make this a proper steak house. The carpet, etc, hasn’t been changed since the 1970s I’d guess, and the food is low-quality and also has a ’70s vibe. Until then, it’s a good place to get a domestic beer or a strong pour of booze and hang out. In winter, they build a big fire in the bar area. Very cozy.

Went there for dinner Thursday nite. What a mistake. Service is okay. Daiquiri I ordered was terrible. Salad bar is very minimal, Pizza Hut has a better one. My steak was cooked well, but the garlic potatoes were cold, the catfish my wife ordered was dry and tasteless. Booths are small and uncomfortable. And the price was up there. Go for lunch but don’t waste your time there for dinner.
