We enjoyed dining here on a slow Tuesday afternoon. The waitress was friendly, and did a good job.

Passing through Bristol on the way to Middlebury and we stumbled on Snap’s…to our great pleasure. This is just what you’d expect from a small town diner…cool retro vibe and warm friendly service.

“Eggs Benedict” is more like just whatever they feel like cooking… in this days case: hard boiled!! Woohoo!!! We have received multiple still cold from frozen burgers and heard “you didn’t cook the burgers again!” Being yelled to the staff while I was still on the phone. This place does not deserve a 4+ star rating, and hasn’t since the 2000s. I can’t count the number of issues and free meals we have been given as a result. This is the end of being quiet about it. Also, way overpriced. Take out is always worse than fine in by a noticeable amount (ex: half the fries/home fries etc)

Nice eatery named after the original Snaps Diner across the street. Both the venue and server were sunny and cheerful, the menu had great options. We had cinnamon french toast (say yes to the warm banana and walnut add-on) and herb scrambled eggs…fuel for a great day on bikes!

A delicious, affordable breakfast spot in Vermont! Our waitress was very kind, and the food was delicious! Fun classic diner atmosphere, and the town of Bristol is very cute too!

Comfort food at its best. Great burgers including local venison burgers, great fish and chips, great french fries… now that I’m thinking about it, everything is good, including the staff, the bathrooms and the diner-like seating.

I ate here about a year ago and had a marvelous breakfast, Eggs Benedict on top of tatertots and was looking forward to the same thing this morning but greatly disappointed. The only reason this is getting two stars is because the coffee was really good though I had to ask for it as I wasn’t asked what I wanted to drink just given a glass of water. The food came quickly, and the eggs were nicely poached but I couldn’t find the hollandaise sauce. I was finally able to catch the waitress, who had not come over to check on me, and asked about it. Her response was that the cook was having a difficult time with the sauce this morning and that’s why it was very thin because it kept breaking – it’s in the bottom of the dish she said. Well yes, maybe it was but it had made over a third of the dish so soggy it was completely inedible. Nothing else was said, no compensation was offered. I paid in full, left a smaller tip than usual (I usually do a minimum of 30%) and left. If the place had been busy I might understand it but it was mid-morning and quiet. Such a shame, I had really liked this place before.
