I’m in town on family business. When researching area restaurants, I noticed this place advertised a crustless pizza bowl. I’m watching carbs so that seemed like a great option, unfortunately it’s apparently a thing that some restaurants in the chain offer and only online. Oh well. I decided to try the buffet and found a great salad bar. The pizza was also good. The restaurant was a bit noisy but that’s to be expected during the weekend lunch rush.

This is my families second time coming here. Both times the service was warm and welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious. The whole area was clean and the staff always kept out table cleared off used plates. Very kid friendly and inviting.

The pizzas were hot and fresh. Plenty of variety. They didn’t have a Hawaiian on the buffet, so they made one for me fresh. The crust is a very soft thick crust. There was lots of cheese and plenty of toppings. Pizza sauce was minimum so it didnt over power the toppings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will go back there again.

The food was great. Pizza was very tasty. I got judged for my usual pineapple love. Normally I get pineapple for sweet and pepperoni for some heat. Hawaiaan style ham always taste nasty to me. He got everything under the sun on his pizza and we both got to try new foods. My friend tried a basic version of mine. I tried his veggie topped, extra protein pizza. He gave me a ride from Clifton to Jackson just out of the kindness of his heart. Said if his daughter was ever in the same situation he’d want someone kind to do the same. He told me all about his wife and kids. I told him they sound lovely, gave him some free marriage counseling since I had a 7 year relationship crash and burnout and some daughter advice from 1 out of 4 daughters. We both had a great time and he took home all the leftovers. Great timing, excellent service and very kind staff. Though if my friend had been paying more attention he would have realized he was overcharged by the young child behind the counter. Never be afraid to pull out a calculator and check their math. Cash registers & people get it wrong still. I might be 28 years old but my Mawmaw taught me well.

I love Snappy Tomato! It’s as good as any pizza buffet, but in some cases, better. What I like:
Pizza buffet!
They keep the place very clean.
Service is always kind.
I get coupons in the mail.
What I’m not too excited about:
The fact that there’s only one in Jackson. I wish there were one in South Jackson.
The cheese sticks could be better.
I wish there were warm Alfredo sauce on the buffet.
Kinda pricey, but everything is these days.

First time at snappy tomato. All very friendly. This restaurant is very very clean, they take a lot of pride in their operations. We had the buffet. The food was very good, they have a small salad bar included in the buffet, the manager was kind enough to make a small vegetable pizza for the buffet per my request, two younger employees were working the dining room quickly cleaning up dirty dishes, vacuuming the floor. Will be back!

Don’t think you could find a better pizza buffet here in Madison County. The variety was a little light tonight but it was still enough to keep the palate satiated. A few meat as well as vegetable combinations were dropped hot on the bar as soon as an opening hit. The salad bar was small and well arranged with colorful, fresh toppings, crisp mixed green lettuces and tasty dressings. The whole place is small and tonight even being almost elbow to elbow with patrons the ladies kept table service that rivals any diner ever. After consuming 2 full salad plates and 3 plates filled with every variety pizza I saw hit the bar, it’s worth every bit the price. Lastly, the dessert by the time I ambled my way to the far side only one lonely slice of each the Apple Pie and Cherry Pie remained, even being the last of the bunch were still pretty delicious. Next time I’ll watch closer for a fresh one.

Gor a large cheese bread and there were 6 pieces without cheese. Large thin crust loaded potato pizza, it had 2 wedge fries cut up on it. And the toppings didn’t go to the end of the pizza like a regular thin crust. Got a baby beast double pepperoni and cheese and it was a small pizza with no extra toppings. What exactly did I pay for. Everything was over cooked and dry. I called to try and correct the mishap and I was told my the night manager that he would replace it. And that is all. I said I do not want more pizza that is not worth the 2nd drive to get get and he just said ok then. And that was it. Never offered to refund any money at all.

Buffet or order off menu. Buffet is clean and kept neat. They keep the fresh pizzas coming in buffet. Buffet options are good includes salad bar, two pasta dishes (spaghetti and other) and dessert pizzas. I ordered from menu for their gluten free crust. Sorry no gluten free crust options on the buffet at this time. Opened for dine-in and staff kept it neat and clean.

Buffet pricing is tolerable. Both salad and pasta need work to really shine. Pizza options, however, are WELL-WORTH the price! Lots of different varieties and flavors, including stromboli & DESSERT PIZZA, are available and prepared pleasantly. Mangia!
