Snapper and Grouper, located on the vibrant Ginza Street, presents itself as a cozy spot for gathering with friends or colleagues. The restaurant boasts a welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by its convenient location and attentive service. The staff are notably kind and respectful, contributing to an overall positive dining experience.

However, the menu offerings leave room for improvement. The selection of vegetarian dishes is notably limited, which may disappoint diners seeking more inclusive options. An additional concern is the policy of charging for extra marinara sauce, even when requesting a small portion to accompany the cheese balls—this was both unexpected and disheartening. Furthermore, the variety of finger foods and main dishes, such as roast chicken or mashed potatoes, is somewhat sparse.

While the service and ambiance are commendable, enhancements to the menu, particularly in terms of diversity and portion flexibility, would elevate the restaurant’s appeal to a broader audience.

While I wasn’t in the mood for drinks, I decided to try their pasta—and I’m so glad I did because it was surprisingly creamy and packed with flavor. The portion size was great too.

One thing to note is that it gets super crowded on a Friday evening, likely because it’s a popular spot for employees looking to relax with drinks after a long week. The lively vibe is fun, but it might not be the best choice if you’re looking for a quieter meal.

I don’t know why this place has such a low rating? It’s great! We have been back several times this Tokyo stay and each time has been perfect. The Ginza Corridor area is full of restaurants and bars but this place welcomed us extremely well. You scan the QR code on the table and order direct including massive draught pints. The food is very tasty and well priced. The staff are very friendly and as you order the food and drinks direct from the app the language barrier isn’t an issue. We were there for the 2024 Olympics and ended up cheering on the Japanese wrestler who won a gold. The atmosphere is loud and everyone seems to be having a great time. Drinks are also well priced, I recommend the nachos as a snack / meal.

Love love love this place, the food is so delicious and the atmosphere is so inviting. If you are in need of a break of traditional Japanese food then I would highly recommend this place. The prices are very reasonable and you simply order everything right from your Smartphone. I had a birdseye view of the bartender and soon as I tapped confirm order she was instantly pouring my beer

We ordered five different menu items, the nachos, shrimp, wings, Caesar salad and Quesadilla. All were very very good with the wings being our favorite. They are super crispy yet still tender and juicy inside. I’ve eaten wings all over the world and these rank near the top.

The staff was very attentive and friendly.

This is a smoke free restaurant even though they have outdoor seating.

I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for something different from the usual Japanese deliciousness of traditional food of Nippon.

And once again Japan does not disappoint on the culinary experience.

Good place that makes Mexican food pretty cheap too. You order via QR code for your table service is quick and friendly. They seem to get busy at night they put on sports games.

Nice and SMOKE FREEE!!! Love the drinks and the snacks. Definitely not a place to have dinner but to bar hopping is awesome.
We had a beer, nachos (awesome), gin tonic and a quesadilla. Everything was good. A cheap for the area.
If you are a foreigner and do not speak Japanese, the staff speaks plenty and also, you order from your smartphone so pretty convenient.
The only thing we didn’t like is that the charge us the cover fee because we check out after 9pm (9.05)

Be careful. They don’t mention in their menu they are charging you an extra for the chair. This extra is like 40% of your billing. We purchased 2 drinks, nothing more and they charge us the price for the drinks + 10% + almost the same price of the total of our drinks. I am not cheap and I always tip 15 to 20% but at least tell me what are theses charges. They were talking pretty good in English with me, trying to avoid the subject. I asked what was this charged and they could explain well. I told them that was a scam for tourist and at this moment they could speak English with me anymore. Just don’t go… this charge it not showed anywhere, they can give you a clear description of your order and they know that make no sense to charge 1100 yen on an order of 1200 yen. In Ginza there is million of places, you will find a nice place avoiding that one.

Our attendant was very rude… I think she just racist

Most of the tables were empty, but still she will not let us sit where we liked.. forced us to buy 4 drinks although we told her that two of us dont drink…. We ordered 5 dishes..and ahe got mad just to give us ketchup for french fires.

She even yelled at us many times ..but we were patient and humble as it was our last night in tokyo.

We were so happy with the humbleness in this part of the world but she ruined it all

Casual spot for a cocktail or a bite to eat. They have a bigger menu, but did not try it out. Friendly and flirty staff. Smoking is allowed so be prepared if you are a non smoker. The restaurant is spread out over a few different areas so no big common space, more like nooks of gathered people/seats.

The Mexican food is about as authentic as you would expect for Tokyo, but taste was good and it was a nice place to duck in from the cold.

Rather disappointed coming in. The hostess at the front was quite rude in waving us to our seats. I’m pretty sure she had an earful from her boss a few minutes later because she then dealt with us properly.
