My second try here was much better! I ordered the new Tangy Spicy dumplings along with the red oil dumplings, and a kids portion of eggplant/rice.
The red oil dumplings were sweet, spicy and had minced fresh garlic in the sauce that added a nice pop of flavor. The tangy/spicy dumplings were more savory, but still very flavorful. Both dumplings had a good amount of meat in them.
The eggplant/rice was a good portion as well. The eggplant was seasoned well in a traditional sauce and the rice was cooked perfect and not soggy.
The new packaging is great too!

Loved the food! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, not just freshly made but clean made with high-quality ingredients. The flavors were amazing, not greasy, and seasoned perfectly.
I also love their packaging! I really appreciate their eco-friendly approach with the containers and silverware. The inside is spotless, which to me always reflects how the kitchen is run. 10/10 would definitely come back.

Initially I was certain this place was going to be bad based on the pictures on reviews during the Opening week. But later I realize those people were really bad at taking pics and writing reviews
Been here 4 times now.
I Can only compare it to Rice Box ( American Chinese ) and maybe Michys ( Puerto Rican Chinese ). A more dialed for the suburbs in every aspect of the word
This is a solid American take on some Chinese food
Being 3 min from my house, makes the trip to Katy Asian town almost a weekend thing.
Solid 4

Stopped by Snap-a-Box around 6pm for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The packaging was both secure and environmentally friendly — definitely a thoughtful touch. The food itself was flavorful and well-balanced without being overly salty, which I really appreciated. The sautéed cabbage was especially delicious, cooked just right and full of flavor.
While the soups could use a bit of improvement, everything else left a great impression. Overall, this is a strong start, and I’m excited to see how they grow and refine their menu over time. Looking forward to good things ahead for this restaurant!

This is a super neat place. The food is great (which is basically all you need), tastes clean and fresh, and the prices for lunch ($10) are very reasonable for what you get. Comparing this to a Panda Express is no contest; this takes it hands-down.
Eco-friendly packaging is a real issue for me which is why I’m glad that even the spork was recycled. The atmosphere has a sleekness to it with a dash of whimsy. The chocolate fortune cookie was the icing on the cake.

The modern take on the good old Chinese takeout is amazing, they have quite a few options and they taste really good. Their fried rice and Mongolian beef was amazing. Definetly will be back for more dishes

Yay a new Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood!!!! I love that it has both authentic and American Chinese dishes, and packaging is pretty refreshing as well. The traditional lunch boxes decor are so cute. Highly recommend this family owned neighborhood restaurant, gotta support your local small businesses, especially hard working ones, money staying locally helps local economy!!! Something else worth mentioning is that they don’t have this awkward “question” during checkout asking for a tip, it’s a take out place I really don’t like how fast food spots and coffee drive throughs expect 18% tips nowadays, I’ll tip whenever I feel like it but it’s not gonna be 18%, if I tip a fast food place 18% how much am I supposed to tip full service dine in places? It would be pretty unfair for full service waiters then.

Decided to try since it’s super close by.
The ordering process online was fast and the food was ready fast too.
Nice packaging as well.
General Tso’s chicken was tasty but very dry and so was the rice.
The chow mein was ok but barely had any meat and/or vegetables.
I did not take a picture of that one.
Not sure I’d order again..

We loved this place! The food tastes so much better and healthier than Panda — not nearly as salty or greasy. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and my kids absolutely loved it. Definitely our new go-to spot for Chinese food!

My son and I tried the take-out Chinese restaurant that opened in Jordan Ranch. It did not disappoint. The service was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly. We even met the owners. Food came out fast and was so tasty. I had the Kung Pao Chicken over Legit Fried Rice and the Sweet and Sour Soup. I also tasted the egg roll and spring roll; both yummy. Oh, and the sweet and sour sauce is homemade. I loved it! We will definitely be back.
