Great business model from this Canadian outfit. One space that includes: cocktails, beer, coffee, mocktails, tea and other soft drinks, a decent food menu, and games galore.
Pay $6 (12 & under $3) for unlimited access to, potential coaching in a collection ranging around 1,200 (?) Game titles, or so said the Librarian if I recall correctly. This pleasant and patient person can be a final rules arbiter, instructor, etc..
A place family can go for cheap, parents have kid time, supervision, games, sips and nibbles.

Went here one afternoon while exploring Tempe. Was pleasantly surprised by the vegan disco fries which came with an amazing mushroom gravy. Coffees were prepared well and came out fairly quickly.
Sat on the patio which was nice on this particular winter day, and there seemed to be plenty of indoor seating although that area was louder due to the groups of people playing board games.
The ordering process felt a little awkward given you open a site via a QR code. Seems like a lot of places are going this direction now but I feel it’s very impersonal.

Delicious food. I had a side of Korean Chicken and a Oatmilk Caramel Latte.

The staff is so kind. What a cool atmosphere! A bar, a cafe and game lounge. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend.

So glad I stopped in – this place is a vibe and the home fries are so freakin good. Izzy makes a mean amaretto sour and was very knowledgeable about the board games!

Very fun place! They have all kinds of games you can check out, pretty much any game you can think of they have available. The espresso martini was delicious, and I highly recommend it. The food was pretty good. It was a little slow getting to us, and it wasn’t super warm, but the flavors were good. They have a “dice shot” that you can order, and that was super fun. You pick a dice, and they bring over this castle that you drop the dice in, and your shot is determined by the number your dice lands on. Plus, you get to keep the dice as a souvenir. The decor is super fun, and the chairs are pretty comfortable, we didn’t play a game but would have been comfortable enough for a couple hours had we chosen to play a game.

From the moment I walked into Snakes & Lattes in Tempe, the atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was truly exceptional. Two amazing staff members—whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch—was beautiful, energetic, and the whole package. They made me feel right at home. The vibe was unmatched. Such a fun, surprising, and unforgettable experience! ❤️

I have been coming to Snakes & Lattes in Tempe for several years now. Every time I have stopped by, I have had a great experience.

The food is excellent. I like that they have a nice selection of food on their menu. While everything on their menu I have tried has been great, their macaroni and cheese stands out the most. It is some of the best macaroni and cheese I have ever had.

You can never go wrong with their desserts either. I have tried every dessert they offer, and they are all fantastic in their own way. To the best of my memory, Snakes & Lattes is where I had my first affogato. While I have had an affogato from several restaurants now, Snakes & Lattes is where I had my initial one. The affogato is a perfect combination of sweet and bitter. Their skillet cookie and waffle sundaes are also excellent choices if you are craving anything sweet.

The staff is friendly and attentive. To my knowledge, the only time I have been there is during lunchtime, which tends to be their quietest time during business hours, as they have told me and from experience. Thus, I have had some friendly conversations with the staff about sports and what they enjoy doing for fun outside of work.

Another thing I like about Snakes & Lattes is its low-key atmosphere. Not only are there many board games to play, but it is also a brilliant spot to unwind and get a breather in before resuming the workday.

It also helps that Snakes & Lattes is within walking distance of my workplace.

I would highly recommend Snakes & Lattes to anyone looking for a place to relax, play board games, and grab a bite to eat in downtown Tempe.

My husband and I stopped by Snakes & Lattes for dinner while we were in town visiting. The location is super convenient as it’s located off Mill Ave. I loved the decor both inside and out. There was plenty of outdoor seating which is great for when the weather is nice. They have a TON of board games to play while enjoying your food & drinks. The games range from strategy to trivia and of course the nostalgic classics.

As a drink I had the 50 shades of lavender which was tasty & strong just how I like it. For food we shared the fried pickles, bbq chicken flatbread and grilled cheese with tomato soup. We really enjoyed it all so it was hard to pick a favorite.

A super cute spot to visit for lunch or dinner. I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the Tempe area!

Super cute restaurant that provides board games and delicious food! I love the payment system they have set up and they have so many games to choose from. I also like how there is a game master that comes to each table and can explain the game you want to play. So fun for friends and family!

I wanted to come here for the longest time, and I FINALLY made it!! I found out their brunch trivia morning on a Sunday and I committed to making it this time with my lovely friends!!

The entire experience was lovely. The flow was smooth. There were no awkward moments and we were given plenty of time to order our food and beverages (via a QR code) eat, and chitchat with each other in between parts of the trivia game. The hosts were lovely and they sounded loud enough for everyone to hear (their AV system is great), so even if you’re seated at a corner, you’ll be fine.

The trivia was hosted at one side of the venue, and I didn’t get a chance to check out the other end, but it seemed like there was another birthday party going on at the same time. Now I have an excuse to go back! Of course, I’ll have to check out the game wall at the corner thoroughly as well!!
