We’ve just had the best dinner here. I had the hot ham & cheese & it was great! Mac had the bacon double cheeseburger. He said it was one of if not the best cheeseburger he’s ever had! The fries were perfect!
Tim was proud of his food & he is right to be proud!
Since we’re from Colorado our visits won’t be as often as we’d like. But when Mac is here for work you will be seeing him!!

We had a better review before, the chicken on Sunday is very good! But you took all the sandwiches off the menu! We usually came for the hamburger and steak sandwiches. I am pretty sorry, but we will have to find a different place.

Ordered for carryout – they were busy, but my food was on time. The pizza and snack sticks were great, but they forgot all the snack stick dipping sauces. I live outside of town and wasn’t interested in driving back just for sauces, so we had to have dry snack sticks (bleh).
Steak sandwich is not the same as previous owner, so that was really disappointing. Mozzarella sticks were really salty.
Will be back for pizza, but probably not the rest.

Great service and food. We had steak sandwiches and a sausage pizza. Simply put, we discussed how soon could we get back. The bun with steak was a strong enough to support the delicious chunk of meat. The pizza was simple and cooked correctly which allowed the flavors to shine.

Newly opened in the remodeled Village Inn location. The pizza is still very good. They opened it up and modernized the establishment, and it’s fresh and welcoming. We’ll be going back to check out the new buffet.

On a Sunday we came from Milwaukee and were on the look out for a great local place to grab something to eat. Upon entering the place was very clean and well kept. We asked Tim what was good, as we were not from the area. He made a few suggestions and we choose to go with a 16″ deluxe pizza and a side of cheese garlic bread.
Let’s start with the review of the cheese garlic bread. It was not over powering on the garlic like some can be. The CHEESE was the best part as it was a healthy pile of nice and gooey CHEESE!!!
Now on to the pizza. Let’s just say you can not beat a fresh out of the oven pizza with a nice light browning to the cheese. And then to have every bite of the pizza just be full of every topping. The sause was just the right amount as not to cause the crust to lose it’s crisp that a thin crust should have. The crust had the perfect amount of corn meal on the bottom to give that great texture.
It was great to see how Tim managed the three other tables of guests, several to go orders, make all the food, and tried make the time to talk with us. It shows the pride in the business.

The owner is always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is family oriented, and pleasant. They have nice selection of meals from steak sandwiches (delicious!) to pizza. And we come from Illinois for their pizza. Yes, it’s that good!
