Absolutely loved this Aegean restaurant! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The tzatziki was creamy and refreshing, the babaganoush had that perfect smoky taste, and the dolma were delicious and well-seasoned.
The grilled sucuk was cooked just right and full of flavor, and the Aegean kebab was tender, juicy, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every dish.
For dessert, I highly recommend the rice pudding ; it was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful atmosphere and such a welcoming vibe. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and our server was incredibly helpful. She walked us through the menu and explained each dish in detail, which made the experience even better.
We had the 4-course dinner, and everything was delicious. I usually prefer meat over chicken, but you have to try the chicken ,it was so fluffy, tender, and flavorful. It ended up being one of my favorite dishes on the menu!

We’ve been to this place as a two family. We were looking for Mediterranean tastes, especially Turkish, and we found them! I strictly recommend spread sampler, each of which is amazing! We tasted many dishes from the menu but my favorite is slow-braised lamb shank! Another amazing thing about this place is Arzu, who served us and hosted all of them very well! We felt so comfortable like at home! Thank you Arzu and also the talented chief for our amazing dinner experience! I’ll come back for lunch 🙂 P.S. I forgot taking picture of the dishes because We immediately dived into them 🙂 but I have photos of the place

Beautiful ambiance, feels like you’re in Mykonos with their decor and choice of dishes. We went out with friends and we loved the idea that we are able to share appetizers and they were generous portions. We started with the Saganaki , Flaming Cheese. It’s always a show stopper to see the cheese flambayed near table side. The cheese was delicious, then we also had the 2x cooked octopus. This dish wasn’t what I expected. They didn’t grill the Octopus. It was lacking flavor. My hubby has the Mousaka, which was delicious but very rich. Maybe it was a blessing that the portion was small. My dish was the grilled lambchops with pureed mash potatoes and salad greens on top. The lambchops were grilled to perfection. I wished that the portions were bigger. I could have eaten more. Plus I wished instead of pureed mash potatoes, they paired it with lemony Greek potatoes and the salad were in a salad bowl. I can’t speak for our friends dishes. Btw, the Greek Lemon and chicken soup needed more lemon flavor. For dessert, I had the creamy rice pudding with cinnamon. It was delicious! The chocolate baklava was just ok.

Local Kingstowne restaurant is a superb place to have Greek and Turkish cuisine with wonderful Turkish coffee. I enjoyed Manti, hummus with fresh pita, and baklava. My family sampled chicken keftedes, ahead kebab and Revani cake. Everything was delicious. The service was wonderful. The Aegean decor and music add to the atmosphere. I highly recommend Smyrna if you are in the area.

We stopped by after searching for a different option tonight. The reviews were amazing so we decided to give it a try. From the welcoming at the entrance to the thanks for coming while we were leaving it was out of this world. I went Athens back in january and I miss their food, this is the closes I can say it taste like Greece, every bite I closed my eyes and I felt OPA !!! Ardu was our waitress and she checked with us all the time. Her suggestions were spot on. And she allow me to even twick the course a little bit because I want to have Sakanaki instead!! I do highly recommend this place. If you want to feel like you are in Greece this is the place.

Making a reservation was very easy and convenient. The manger even called us on the day of the reservation to confirm our requested date and time. The restaurant accommodated our unique request for a specific table arrangement because we were having a special family celebration. We requested to sit outdoors in their “igloo” in order to dine al fresco. The inside of the igloo included a space heater and was brightly decorated. Parking was convenient and plentiful. We were greeted warmly by the manager as soon as we walked in. She confirmed our table request and seated us immediately. The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The inside of the restaurant was brilliantly decorated with dazzling colors and Mediterranean vibes. The restaurant offered multiple menu options, including special menu items for Restaurant Week with many amazing Four Course options at a great price point. The beverage menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of appealing options. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was unbelievably fantastic (probably the most delicious I’ve ever eaten in my life). The french-fries were hot, well-seasoned and soft The pita bread was warm and delicious. We ordered the Appetizer Sampler (included hummus, tzatziki, baba-ghannush, and pembe sultan) and the following entrees: Keftedes, Aegean Kebab, and Kebab Skewers. All of the food was made fresh in the kitchen and was absolutely delicious! All of the wonderful dishes paired extremely well with a refreshing Mythos (Greek beer). A big shoutout to our awesome waiter, Mehmet, who brought us complimentary Turkish tea; which was very thoughtful and tasty (and warmed our chilly hands when they were cold). The restrooms were spacious, clean and well decorated. If you choose to sit in the igloo on a bitterly cold day in wintertime, like we did, we do recommend wearing appropriate clothing, including beanies and gloves. In our opinion, this is one of the best and most authentic ethnic restaurants in the Kingstowne area! We highly recommend you place Smyrna Restaurant Aegean Kitchen at the top of your list for your next restaurant experience!
