The person doing our cake had to cancel last min due to a family emergency so I asked this bakery if they could make the cake and thankfully they were able to. The cake was perfect! It looked amazing and it taste delicious. My sister wanted a beach/spongebob theme and we were not disappointed.

Huge Polish bakery with many items I have never tried. I bought 3 kinds of rye, all excellent, some garlic cheddar rolls and my brother bought donuts. I highly recommend the “kneecaps”, a small, fluffy donut with a lightly sweetened blob of cream (the kneecap). So delicious!!! Amazing. They are known for their paczkis. Best ever.

If you’ve never had a doughnut from Smurawa’s County Bakery in Pulaski WI, you’re missing out on a guilty Treasure. My daughter- in-law trekked through the crowded streets during Polka Day’s this weekend to treat the family, OMG, had my favorite Apple Fritter and it was like eating Spun Gold! So fresh and light, like an adult cotton candy, but better. Just one of many terrific bakery treats, worth the time to stop by while driving Highway 32 through this little village. Can’t beat the bakery, and they sell other items as well, even Twiggs soda. Passing through Pulaski, stop here!!! Over the past year I have made trips from the Fox Valley to this bakery only to find they are often closed. I’m assuming they do not want any business. Why would you close on a Monday and Tuesdays??? COVID19 is over now. Open up your store on Mondays and Tuesdays now. Those are my only days off. The hours have been minimal too. I’m not sure if ill ever get to enjoy their pastries ever again at this rate. If you catch them when they’re open, enjoy the moment. So sad how limited they are in open hours. Even 2 years later, still closed on these same days. I forgot what they sell. I made it there on my vacation day. A once a year trip.
