Very nice place. The menu had a ton of options, the food came out so fast and tasted so good. This was our first time trying this place and we will definitely be back for more.

That was amaze-balls!!!
Not kidding… that was top-shelf Mexican, seafood at that, and for cheap!
Had the Baja Combo: 4 grilled prawns, grilled mahi-mahi. And TWO real crabmeat Enchiladas covered with lobster crema. Oh, and at least a whole champagne mango, diced on the side.
Prawns were perfect in texture, flavor, and were good-sized.
Mahi was BIG: must’ve been 6 ounces, seared, spiced… .
The enchiladas… i don’t know how they can serve this meal for 20 bucks, and still keep the doors open. Those enchiladas were stuffed with real crab, covered with crab and cheese, and then the lobster crema. And this is downtown in SLC. A ‘nice place’ downtown could charge $50 for what i just had… for $20 and change, tax included. Damn right i left a good tip!

I can usually finish the plate, no matter the meal, but i could not contend with the portions: i had to save back the (very-nicely seasoned and perfectly moist) Spanish rice, for a little later tonight.

Ten-outta-Ten! Not sure what else i can add. I worked restaurants, every position from host to chef to manager: these folks CARE about their customers and their reputation. It’s right there in the food, and the friendly staff. 🙂
(I gave half marks on atmosphere, but there’s nothing wrong with it: I’m a ‘quiet table’ kinda guy, and this place is ‘festive’. That’s all.)

Can’t wait to try their carne, or carnitas… from one dish, I imagine the whole menu sings!

Well done, SB!

I should have known it wasnt going to be good place, wheb i walked in on a Tuesday night at 5pm the place was basically empty. Fajitas were mostly vegetables very little meat.. What little chicken, steak, and shrimp there was, was overcooked and tough. There were empty shrimp tales in the fajitas. Once our order was taken, never saw the waitress again, because they were too busy sitting on the opposite side of the resturant eating dinner and talking. This is the first mexican restaurant that I have been in, they dont even have a queso.

The only positive thing I can say about this place is the flour tortillas where pretty decent.

The food and service were amazing. I grabbed lunch and dinner here while I was staying at Crystal Inn next door. The food was hot, fresh and tasted really good.

The girl at the front desk screwed my order up twice. I was walking back with my food the first time and she called me to tell me I had been given the wrong order. I checked it and it was beans and rice, not the carne asada fries I had ordered. She said if I come back they would fix it and throw in some tacos. I go back and they give me the new meal. There’s no tacos, no double portion of carne I had asked for, and no pick de gallo. They upcharged me for all this as well. The carne asada fries were a small portion for 24 dollars after tax and tip. It was nearly 30 with the upcharges.

O. The carnitas! What are you waiting for?

The staff is professional and kind. The atmosphere is festive. Portions are large. Price is reasonable. The food is delicious. I even asked another customer yesterday, and he said the same thing.

The food was good and the service was also. My only complaint was that at the end, she automatically added a 25% tip without asking. I would certainly have typed, but thought it inappropriate for her to not ask. Our group was only 6 people.

Misleading online. They have no website so you have to call to see what’s in their food. If you order a basic smothered burrito for 7$ it’s literally beans with a tortilla and sauce. FOR 7$! You can get that at Taco Bell, del taco, taco time for like 1.50$. This has to be a joke right? Just got to a taco stand and get an actual burrito with meat for 8$. Can’t believe this place is in business, can’t believe people pay for this.
