Great food today. Ordered the Original Brisket with the Mac and Cheese. Woo! The food was good. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. And the staff, I think it was only one guy working. And he managed to do it all! I applaud him! He handled everything well! Not sure what his name was, but he was chill and welcoming! I am most definitely coming back!

The 3 best things tonight at dinner the brisket, absolutely phenomenal! The Mac and cheese again, mouthwatering and our waitress. So nice attentive, polite, I couldn’t have asked for better. The ribs tasted boiled, were lukewarm and didn’t really have much flavor. The chicken thigh it was dry and had nothing on it at all. The pulled pork was okay but also lukewarm and we didn’t like the barbecue sauce on it. The sides all had a vinegar taste. The pasta Caesar salad wasn’t bad. It just tasted more like a vinaigrette, very sour tasting. The potato hash again was okay but the mustard flavor was very strong. The cornbread was good, but three dollars for a little muffin was a lot. You could add extra meat to your platter for 12$. One chicken thigh was 12$ to add to the meal. For a family of 4 our total was a 164 without any kind of alcohol, (they dont sell it) we won’t be going back.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It is small with limited amount of tables. The menu is very small. There are no too many options to choose from. The food was average. Nothing extraordinary about it. Not impressed.

We recently hosted a private après-ski event at Smoq, and it was genuinely such a great experience. The whole team was wonderful—kind, attentive, and just really easy to work with from start to finish. And I have to give extra credit to Reagan. She made everything feel so simple and stress-free, was always quick to help, and truly cared about making sure our event turned out exactly the way we hoped.
It ended up being one of those nights where everything just clicked. I’m really grateful to the Smoq team for making it such a memorable event. Highly recommend them!

Brookhaven Psychotherapy
We hosted our holiday party at SMOQ house, for a team of 35. Everything was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The food (catered) was delicious and priced very well. They also made a specialty cocktail for our group and hosted a wonderful bar that appeased everyone. The management team was so good at being flexible, and accommodating our needs and theme for the evening (Apres Ski!). I would recommend SMOQ house in Burlington to ANYONE looking for a meal or hosting a small party!

This place is great! Popped in for the pulled pork and the brisket and both were delicious! Sides were great too! We sat in which was comfortable. I think this would be a great place to pick up food from and enjoy by the water. Will definitely be back to try more!

Was very excited to see a BBQ spot opened in the area. The Big Smoq (for 4) definitely is not enough food for 4 people. We had to order double of every meat and side. The barbacos tacos were very good, and the sides of mac and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad. The brisket was a served extremely thin, and the ribs were lacking a true barbecue sauce. The pulled pork was great, but also lacking sauce.. the one provided tasted more like a jam. I’d love to see this place thrive, so I hope they consider all of the feedback!

Fun little eatery close to the lake and downtown Burlington with a good variety of sandwiches and sides. We ordered the Crispy Quinoa with a side salad and the Buffalo Chicken with a side of mac and cheese. We would do the same again!
