I waited nearly 10 minutes before even placing an order at the drive through, with no other cars in sight. The employee asked me to please wait, so I knew the speaker WAS working when I arrived. I assumed it must be busy inside or the speaker was now broken after asking if they were ready, yet. Not their fault, possibly?? I pulled up to the window to share I had been waiting with no service. The teen at the window smiled at me and did not attempt to speak to me or ask if I needed assistance. Another, a few minutes later took my order, then asked me to pull forward. I explained that I truly couldn’t, having waited about 10 minutes already, noticing one patron inside the facility (so online orders could be their hold up?). The interior was not busy as expected for the wait, and I was patient. I explained I anticipated to be gone and had the Kids Entrepreneur Market to head to, so if I could stay, that would be best. There was one car behind me, and they said they were making that order prior to mine. In every town and city in most of America, when an establishment overlooks a patient customer, and realizes they missed an opportunity to serve their financial market base, they do their best to quickly “make it right” in any way. I didn’t ask for anything free, nor was I disrespectful. I simply asked that I be able to stay (and be the priority in this moment instead of the family order behind me that just arrived after my long wait). A Bearded manager asked me to pull forward instead of waiting for my one drink because they wanted their window time policy to ‘follow protocol’ or he would “refuse service”. It’s as if he needed to have power over the situation instead of being of service to the funds that are the foundation for the position he holds. I did not ask for anything special. I asked to please order and please be served one smoothie. It’s so rare to see true service anymore and it’s so disheartening. In most locations nationally, ‘protocol’ for a business is to serve the community with a product (or service), and if ever human error takes over, to gently accommodate. If a patron is being unruly, resort to protecting the safety of the employees and establishment, and seek alternate methods, like threatening to “refuse service”. I would be so embarrassed for this management to represent my company…especially if your customer is being polite. Such a disappointing level of human interaction in such a simple life moment unfolded unnecessarily today. In 2026 this is becoming the standard. If I were this franchise owner, I would start fresh with a customer service driven staff, as soon as possible. Terrible experience, and won’t be supporting this location for such an awesome national franchise. Remember when our hard earned money meant supporting family driven community service oriented establishments? Any suggestions for a Smoothie in the area prepared by grateful staffing?

We’ve been here twice in 2 days. They were great the first day, everyone in there was sort kind.
Tonight, however we came literally minutes before they closed. The woman in the drive thru could have easily sent us on our way but she took our order was very nice and gave us the excess due to them being closed when she made it. It’s very difficult to find service like that out here. It’s greatly appreciated!

Me and my husband have been a smoothie king junkies. We order the same kind every time. I understand that every location is different but this one location is off! Let me start by saying I am reviewing the smoothies only. If I could give it a zero star, I would.
We ordered 44oz power meal slim chocolate and 20oz angel food.
Power meal slim chocolate tastes so bland. Very textured and watery.
Angel food tastes so weird, bland and watery. Throat and mouth starts itching after a sip and immediately threw it away.
We are heading to Panama City from Louisiana so we decided not to turn back or have the drinks replaced.
I highly recommend Smoothie king in Hammond La. One by the mall or the one close to Walmart.
The crew is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Smoothie is ????????!!

We can all do better and everyone deserves a chance. Hope the next visit is far different from the first one.

Stopped in today while our tire was being repaired next door, it was super clean and nice and cool in there. The employees were both friendly, we ordered 5 smoothies, they all tasted great. Restroom was clean and had a great gender neutral sign on the door. Hit the thumbs up if you made it this far!

Went to get an acai bowl and it was barely filled with acai or toppings. I come all the time and the normally give less the others not a big deal. But my most recent visit was horrible

Drank a whole 32 oz smoothie in store waiting on 2 toasts
Never was acknowledged, never was greeted, never was attended to, never was made eye contact with.

Staff never said thank you for your patience nor have a good day.

Smoothie king has a bigger problem than being able to fix smoothies in a timely manner.

Perfect pit stop off the interstate while traveling. Restrooms were clean, spacious seating and plenty parking. Smoothies were blended perfectly and the employees were super friendly. We will make this a regular stop on all beach trips.
