Even if it wasn’t laid out the same way, it seems like FRESH strawberries and blueberries are used to make the toast…NOT the frozen ones used for the smoothies. Great experience. Service was prompt. I got the island impact smoothie. It’s a blend of pineapples, mangoes, papaya juice, apple pineapples juice, and a protein blend. You can also add other ingredients in if you’d like. I think next time I may add ginger for fun. Also they currently have a special running with a red velvet smoothie. It looked interesting. The blend I had was very good. They had me in and out quickly. Great customer service and smoothie, will return.

The staff seem nice enough and the smoothies are good. But the store is always so dirty! Sometimes I’ve just decided not to order because if the floor and counters look gross…no telling what’s in the smoothie itself! They recently removed the smoothie king branded rug from the floor because it was disgusting. The patrons of Bowie deserve a clean healthy smoothie experience.

Sadly I would not recommend this location. Placed an online order 7 months ago and got 1 medium and 1 large smoothie. Whoever was working supplemented ingredients in both smoothies (without letting me know) because they did not have all of what go in them. Tasted terrible. Went inside and asked for a refund, was told I would have to contact smoothie king support and I in fact emailed. Sent order ID, total and date… received nothing. Somehow whenever I try again to email them they don’t go through at all. Months later and never got credited or my money back.

Prior to the change in ownership I used to visit 1-2 times per week. The bowl were great and worth the price. Now the service is blahhh except for 1 young lady and the bowls are barely full. I tried again last week, did an app order. I told the staff I placed my order on the app. The guy made my smoothie right away, the lady made about 4 bowls for ppl who arrived long after I did. I waited and waited (about 20 mins) and then asked for a refund for the bowl. She told me she could only refund the entire order so she took my smoothie and threw it away. Only to then tell me the manager had to do it on Monday. She was super rude. I still have not received my refund, the phone number is disconnected. I will go by tomorrow to see if the manager is there but I need to find a new smoothie king to patronize.

Zero sense of urgency. Waited 20 minutes for an Acai bowl with only one other customer there. They also gave my order to someone else. Had to then go hunting elsewhere for a spoon to eat it with, because they are just dumped out in a basket, covered in smoothie splatter, and couldn’t have been bothered to find me a clean utensil. After getting back to the hotel, found out the mango was super underripe. Would never revisit even though this was my first time in one.

The staff need to where gloves, when making the smoothies and food etc; The service is bad when they don’t do hand hygiene before and after every service nor do they put on gloves.
