It’s wild to think this BBQ got “best in town” but when you think about how their only competition is Danny’s BBQ it’s really not that surprising when both are subpar BBQ. I will say the staff is friendly but the food is mid at best. The hours are wild, only open one day at the actual storefront while being available at a remodeled theatre that not everyone wants to go to just for this bbq that’s in the middle of town. If you want good bbq it’s probably best to figure out how to do it yourself. Overall 1/5 starts for food but because the staff is friendly I’m giving a 2/5 stars.

Cute little market with barbecue that is BIG on taste. I lucked out and visited when brisket nachos with green chile queso was the lunch special. So, so good. Worth the indulgence.

We love Smoky B’s. Great BBQ and their cole slaw is my favorite and I don’t even like cole slaw. The homemade sauces are fabulous and it’s always good. We look forward to Friday lunch here. The owners are sweet and kind as well as all of the staff

Hands down THE BEST barbeque I have ever had! Unique sides are gourmet-level, and the environment at The Texan is fantastic… Love that they host Cowboys games and other sporting events, and on top of that the owners are just fantastic people!

Best BBQ in the area. Highly recommend if you get a chance to try it out.
You want that melt in your mouth, make your eyes roll to the back of your head kind of Texas BBQ look no further.
Staff is super nice as well, and that makes a huge difference!

This place is a little hard to see.. even though on a busy street. Not in a usual restaurant area, but it was ok. It opens at 11:30 instead of 11 like most places.
The parking lot is not that big. If you are pulling a trailer, good luck.
Wasn’t busy. Only 2 tables inside?? What if they are busy? Wheredo you eat?
We had to try a little of everything. Brisket, sausage (spicey), pulled pork(too dry.. had to use a lot of sauce to eat.
3 sauces- spicy, regular, sweet
Three different sides
Non-macaroni & cheese..made with chickpeas. – very good! Best side.
Coleslaw.. too much vinegar for us…1 bite was enough.
Pinto beans were ok, but bland for us.. we tried 1 bite..
Drinks – can drinks.

Had the beef ribs and chopped beef. DELICIOUS. Cant wait to go back and try more. The beef ribs were so tender and flavorful. Best bbq I’ve had in a while. Hands down.
