The real deal is Smoking Pig BBQ that features flavors and huge smokers!

Let’s begin with the service which was quick, friendly conversation, and overall ok. It was a little interesting walking in you think you would order at the register then we were asked to sit first then someone came to serve us.

The atmosphere is rough, rugged, bbq style feel, and diner type of look as well. The restaurant wasn’t as clean as I would like it. You can see the bbq bottles are worn.

Now onto the Main Event: the Food! The burnt ends were full flavor and good sauce 8.5/10. The pulled pork could have been warmer but the flavors and seasoning were on point 8/10. Fries were solid as they should be 8.5/10. The bbq chicken was good but could be improved on flavors 6.5/10. The cornbread and butter spread was really good 9/10. Overall this place is worth a try, places that smoke they have long cool times were can hinder flavors an heat depending on when you come so I always suggest multiple meats. Cheers!!!

Honest review by a BBQ lover.

I came here for lunch at 12pm and got the brisket, pulled pork and pork ribs. I get to BBQ places early in case they sell out of what I want. There was no line, and only a handful of people on a Saturday.
Staff were awesome. Very attentive, very nice, great people.

Did I eat it all… Yes. Was it good, yes.

But I was looking for a Texas style BBQ experience, and this was not it.

The brisket was good, not great. A little dryer than desired. A little firmer than you would expect from professional. The bark was not noticeable. A common theme.

The pulled pork was much dryer than it should be and the smoke flavor was not present. There was no bark.

The pork ribs had no bark as well, much firmer than desired.

I’m sure the meat would be much better as a sandwich. That seems to be the #1 seller there.

The good stuff was the Mac and cheese which was great. The BBQ sauces were fantastic! Each one has a different flavor. It’s a good thing The sauces are so good because they are necessary to accompany the meat. My expectation on great bbq would be not needing the sauce to be flavorful.
The corn bread was also well done. No nonsense corn bread is my preference.

This place offers it all of your a BBQ fan! The brisket, beans, corn bread and side Cesar salad was my choice today and Carla was my waitress. Very friendly and tentative. If you want Cheap BBQ, don’t come here because good BBQ ain’t Cheap and and Cheap BBQ ain’t good.
$40 for the LG brisket plate with mixed fat/lean with the premium side. Worth it!

wow, a great no-nonsense Texas BBQ place. slow smoked ribs where the meat falls off the bone, potato salad, cornbread, brisket, four kinds of sauce, and a roll of paper towel on your table. we also got a plate of Wolf Turds as an appetizer: crazy name for three jalapeño peppers, stuffed with sausage and cheese, wrapped in bacon, and roasted. very delicious.

we got the large combo ribs with brisket and extra sides. more than enough for two, plus leftovers.

Lots of booths, super friendly service, mellow blues music, very laid back in a casual place, with lots of parking.

Great BBQ spot. Very casual. Plenty of parking (dedicated lot, some street parking). Great place to have lunch and enjoy some ribs, brisket and soda. Meat combo platters are reasonable and they include cornbread and a side. The sides are delicious. I had the potato salad today.

The food here is great. Juicy ribs, crispy burnt ends and fatty pulled pork.
The Mac and cheese is excellent as well.
I’ve requested for extra fatty meat and they did not disappoint.

with a taco stand at every corner and hundreds of other places to choose from today’s culinary adventure led me to try the smoking pig.

word of mouth and speaking with a few patrons who were eating one of them telling me they come here every other week I knew we made the right choice.

the smell of the various BBQ meats was intoxicating coming from the small little shop with blues playing in the background it was perfect the service was second to non and the different BBQ sauce at the table made every bite tasty and savory and phenomenal cannot say enough I highly recommend

First off the service person did her thing. She was quick fast and efficient. That’s about were it ended . We order our food not but 10min later it’s was in the table. You would think that’s “great” nope the food was barely room Temperature this location had to space heats to cover a 40×40 square foot room. I guess it was stay open another day or pay the electric bill. The food well let’s say it’s an acquired taste. If bland and under seasoned is your thing I recommend all the sauces to help. Portions were decent and price was fair. However putting the same award and recognition from 2016 on every wall doesn’t make your place look more appealing appealing. In then this is just an opinion

The person whom I chose to refer to has hostess/ cashier/ waitress; was super she noticed my pain right away and seated me. She gave me time to review the menu. She patiently and excitedly went over the items and allowed me to choose. The food was sooo good. The greens truly southern style with a kick. I’m just happy not to have sugar in my greens to taste. The cornbread is really slap yo mama style. Want to go and get just cornbread. The ribs are smoked to perfection seasoned and fall of bone. The hot link sausage was a bit spicy for my taste but good no dought.

The service and food were pretty good! I got the two meat combo platter for $22. For that price point, especially after tip and tax, I was expecting more meat… Otherwise the food itself was pretty decent
