Accidentally showed up right at closing and they stayed open to cook dinner for my wife and I. We got the jerk chicken, rice and beans and Mac and cheese. Food was excently cooked and the flavor was amazing. Food was also very reasonably priced.

Visited for a quick lunch date. The building doesn’t look like much but the food is amazing. We got the curry goat and jerk chicken. The goat was tender and rich but not gamey, and the chicken was subtly spicy. All sides were delicious, especially the addictive rice and beans. Portions were huge…. I’m a 220 lb army guy and the goat is easily three lunches for me. Great prices. Super friendly people too, which is always a plus. We’ll defiantly add this place to the regular rotation.

My initial thoughts about this establishment were sketchy. But I gave them another shot and they are actually really good. I chit chatted with one of the ladies and she is very customer service oriented. She even gave me a sample of their new Friday special (Curry Oxtails) and they were delicious. I took some to my dad last week and other people said their mouths were watering from the amazing aroma. I can’t wait until this Friday.

Customer service friendly and inviting! The food is delicious the curry goat and ox tails will not disappoint. Road past for a long time and finally stopped in! I reccomend you do the same excited to try the whole fried fish next time.

Amazing service! The Goat was amazingly flavorful and tender. The rice and green beans were a great accent to it. A perfect place to cheer up a very poor day! We will be back every chance we get! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My wife and I visited yesterday looking for something new to get us out of the house. While Smoking Jey’s is a takeout restaurant, right away the smell of jerk chicken and spices hit our nostrils and got us ready.
I had the Jerk Chicken plate with red beans and rice, cabbage, and a side of fried plantains. She had the pulled Jerk Chicken Sandwich. Great mix of heat&sweet. The staff was friendly and patient while we decided, and it was worth the wait.
Definitely will try another dish here!

Easily one of my favorite restaurants ever. We had a sample plate of rice & beans, mac & cheese, cabbage, goat curry, & jerk chicken. Got a side of plantains too bc you can’t eat Caribbean food without it! Everything was cooked perfectly & flavorful! The ladies were even sweet enough to give us a tiny bit of oxtail when they ran out of full plates. I dreamt of the oxtails & plantains that night!!! Will definitely be back & supporting this small, local business. Call ahead if you want something specific on the menu as it seems they run out of popular items pretty fast. & check their Facebook for any updates on hours & specials

The food here is AMAZING!! Please stop by and get a taste for yourself!! My patient that i care for doesn’t like meat much , but when i say she ate that plate of oxtails with the sides , (mac and cheese , cabbage ) and tried to fight with me for taking the plate after she ate everything
