I was searching for great-tasting Texas smoked barbecue “near me,” and I wasn’t disappointed!!! Do not sleep on Smokin’ Z’s BBQ & Kraft Chicken! The taste is uncommonly great! You don’t need sauce. And the meat is tender enough for a toothless baby to enjoy. I wanted to order the pork ribs, but they were sold out shortly after Noon. That’s impressive. After tasting the brisket, I see why the ribs were gone too soon. For the inconvenience, the cashier offered a free side. I wasn’t disappointed. Order the Mac and cheese. You’ll be glad you did! It’s made with a delicate blend white cheddar and other white cheeses.

The food is amazing!! Highly recommend the Pork Belly BLT or if you’re there on the weekend, grab you some juicy, tender, smoked sliced brisket. Hands down, beats most of the surrounding restaurants. The ONLY reason why the atmosphere is 4 stars, is because it’s inside of the EZ Mart! If they operated as a restaurant (brick & mortar) or a food truck, they’d easily beat out others in the area!! The rest…5 stars only because I can’t go any higher!

I stopped by Smokin Zs BBQ and Kraft Kitchen and the food was excellent. The brisket was tender with a deep smoky flavor and the ribs came out juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the potato salad tasted fresh and homemade. The staff was friendly and the service felt relaxed and welcoming. The place has a warm local vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. I left full and completely satisfied. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Since I’ve heard of this bbq place we wanted to try them and I’m glad they’re open in Sundays!Delicious brisket and pulled pork! Everyone’s pretty nice and we had our dog with us and had some water for him but we forgot his bowl. We were given a little container for his water! Thank you!! We shall be back!!

This pitmaster knows what he’s doing. The brisket was tender, moist, and just melted in my mouth. I was honestly surprised by how good the broccoli salad was too; I didn’t expect that much flavor. It’s inside the EZ Food Mart and there’s outdoor seating.

I think Smokin Z’s BBQ is one of the top short list of Best BBQ this side of Houston. I’ve had several family sized packs to go and we loved it all. The brisket was great. Ribs great. But the sausages have been a hit every time.

All I have to say is that you have to try BBQ at this place . It’s completely off the chain. I tried their Brisket Grill Cheese sandwich, and it was awesome. The sandwich is loaded with meat. The staff is very friendly. Great hospitality. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants some great BBQ .
