First time eating here. My daughter was with me and her and her fiancée were here before and loved it and she wanted me to try it. The food was amazing and service impeccable. Definitely recommend eating here. They have a huge banquet room with a stage for a band and private bar for rental. There’s a game room as well. Decor was very warm feeling.

10-14-2025 My friend and I ordered six smoked wings with barbecue sauce and the three meat platter with two slices of brisket, three rib bones and three chicken wings. I chose the baked beans and coleslaw sides and my friend had onion rings and coleslaw for his sides. We met the owner’s and had a good time.The food was excellently smoked, the sides were all delicious and we will go back!!!!

Smoking Willies is an amazing place where you can just sit, relax, and vibe with the atmosphere. It’s all jazzed up with the smell of barbecue everywhere and it makes your taste buds want to dance. The owners are pretty cool too. They come out and talk with you and ask how your days been. That’s pretty cool. I’d suggest that if you’re going to try something and you’ve never been in there you should really get a slab. Wayland Really knows his way around some barbecue. It’s slap yo mama good!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️. They also have a chill gambling room, as well as night club in the back. I’ve never been able to indulge into the shenanigans at night there, but I have heard they have some of the best local and non-local bands there along with a different variety of genres.

Fabulous BBQ spot! I am a giant fan of Waylon’s brisket, but it’s all good!Aside from the BBQ dishes, the fried chicken is phenomenal and Tania’s sides are all amazing additions to their hearty meals. Tania and Waylon have turned this space into an incredible venue with Thursday Jazz Nights and bands on certain Saturday nights, plus nicely done space to rent for parties. Delicious food served and enjoyed in a comfortable atmosphere…the best combo!

I don’t know if it was because it was a mass cook for a crowd? The food was not all that good. The chicken quarters were still pretty pink inside. The pork loin tasted like i had cooked it in my stove. Potatoes were ok and probably the best thing. Green beans could have had more bacon and flavor. Nothing really stood out as flavorful to me. Once again, could have been because it was a Christmas party and a large number, but on my own, i wouldn’t have paid for this meal.

I wish they had a little more BBQ sauce with the order. Everything was served hot and tasted great! I enjoyed the Pulled Pork sandwich(10/10), fries (10/10), and coleslaw(7/10). It was a decent amount of food for the money. The nachos were good.(I am not a fan of nachos) The girl who ordered them said they were great.

Oh wow! Found this on here and we’re SO glad we tried it! Hands down the best bbq and onion rings we’ve ever had. The sauce was perfect. My husband and I shared the 12 piece ribs and still had 5 to take home. Great service, nice ambience.

We’ve been going to Smokin’ Willie’s everywhere they’ve been. Wayland’s food is always on point, and this visit was no exception. Expanded standard menu, great sides, great work on the bbq. I got the Moose Platter with tips, 3 bones, 3 wings, and a catfish fillet. Ribs were the best I’ve had in a long time, and the catfish was so good I got another sandwich to go. Always get mac/cheese, wings, and fries, and if they have greens get them too. Ask for the spicy sauce, get a cold beer, and have some of the best bbq in town.

Best BBQ I have had in Galesburg with and old speak easy fell to it. We had basically a little of everything offered and nothing disappointed. Great price too and even had some take home at the end.

The workers were nice, make sure everything was taken care of at our table, and even want a little out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food is what did it for me though.. the brisket just melted in your mouth, and the barbecue nachos were to die for!! By far the best barbecue nachos I’ve had. The vibes there were amazing they have like these neon signs and light music so you can still have conversation at your table I will honestly say I will be back.
