The side of Brunswick stew was a joke. Very small and served like a vegetable. I was tasty but no portion size at all.

Overall Score: 5.6/10 – A clean and spacious BBQ spot with friendly staff, a straightforward menu, and flavorful sauces, but the food quality overall doesn’t stand out.

Atmosphere and Service: 5.8/10 – The restaurant is clean and spacious inside, though the exterior feels a bit outdated. The parking lot is large and convenient, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is large, easy to read, and offers a decent selection, though it lacks anything particularly unique. The food arrived on time, enhancing the overall experience.

Meats: 5.5/10 – The brisket was well-cooked but leaned on the salty side, with the BBQ sauce significantly enhancing the flavor. The chicken was a highlight, perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The ribs were good in terms of texture and cooking, though the taste fell short, lacking the bold flavor expected. The meats were reasonably priced for the portion sizes and quality.

Sides: 5.7/10 – The mac and cheese stood out slightly with its breadcrumb topping, which added a unique touch, though it was otherwise average. The Brunswick stew was solid but not memorable. The loaded potato was satisfying with plenty of cheese and good-quality beef, making it a well-priced and enjoyable side.

Smokin Pig is located just off I-95, easy to get to, & lots of parking. They have a decent variety of items on their menu with reasonable prices. We got pulled pork sandwiches, kids grilled cheese, & baked potato with pulled pork. Service was fast, employees were friendly, & it was clean inside. All 4 of their sauces had great flavor, our favorite was the spicy vinegar. The pulled pork had a lot of flavor and the portions are good for the price.

This place never misses. The ribs are always good and fall off the bone. The brisket I tried for the first time and that is something I will always order going forward. The baked potato with the brisket I will be trying again next time we stop by. The sides may be an issue for some people, but I absolutely love the Mac and cheese and green beans.

Stopped here while on vacation and after being on the road for over 8 hours we really wanted some bbq before leaving the south. This place was great everyone was really nice and the service was fast! We had the ribs and brisket, both were delicious. Can’t wait to come back on our next road trip! Also the Banana pudding was so good I just didn’t get a picture of it.

Ate here for the first time and can honestly say we won’t be back. Very dry pulled pork. Worst Brunswick stew I’ve ever had. Coleslaw has a funny taste. Sweet tea is good. Mac n cheese is okay but for $55 guess my expectations were a little higher. I will never cheat on the rusty pig in Grenville ever again.

This place had great food. My kids and I were on a road trip to universal/disney and we had to stop for gas and were hungry! It was lunch time and traffic was getting hectic and I wasn’t stopping into savannah and going way off course for food. I also wasn’t passing the low country without getting BBQ and homemade sides. It was the sunday before Christmas too may I add for perspective. I pulled into this huge parking lot and you absolutely wouldn’t know what kinda restaurant it was but it looked like just a local spot nothing fancy nothing eye-catching (which usually have the best food around) This was definitely a no fuss comfy come as you are family spot. Im so so so glad I stopped here (mouth is watering as im typing lol). Since we had several hours to still go I didn’t want a hearty meal so we all got sandwiches. Boy that pulled pork was soooo juicy and good just wow!! It comes with a vinegar thin slightly spicy BBQ on the side and it didn’t need it but I added it and just WOOOOW!!!! I was floored with how good that sandwhich was. Their potato salad was really good as well. I would’ve loved to of tried a bunch of their sides but I can almost garuntee they would’ve been knock your socks off great too. Definitely anyone traveling thru, STOP ✋️ HERE!!!

Amazing stop on 95 for bbq. Great service, quick turn around. I ordered the brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The brisket was good but a little bit dry. Still a quality brisket sandwich. The beans were terrific, we was the Mac. The bbq sauce at the table was delicious as well. Overall score: 9/10

The place feels chill and the servers and staff are pretty down to earth. This place has some cool stuff that gives it a cozy feel. For example it has wooded floors and chalkboard menus. The overall vibe is pretty great!

Brisket was dry, overcooked and piping hot? Did they reheat it?

Spicy vinegar sauce gets an honorable mention for flavor but it was ice cold? $28 for 2/3 of a pound with no sides or bread seemed expensive for these parts.

The price on the board said $18 for brisket? Just continue down the road a few miles and go to Buc’ee’s.
