My mom absolutely loves the barbecue here. Would have given this place 5 stars if it was a more bipartisan establishment. Political advertising is not good for a business if you want to make all who visit feel welcome. Personal political preferences need to be left personal in the workplace and public business establishments.

If your plate looks cold and dry when placed in front of you, more than likely it is. I take issue making the rest of my party wait for an establishment to recook and me eat after they have finished, so I do not send food back, I simply dont eat it and say before the check is paid. Which is what I did, my hickory fries must have been prepared first and sat because they were very cold and hard. Sad because they were good when I had them previously. I do not recommend ordering these. No change to the check, I was apologized to and was assured they were not old fries even though that is what they tasted like. Not the professionalism I had hoped for, but, again, I dont send food back.

I have ate at a lot of BBQ restaurants in west Georgia and this one is one of the best. The smell of smoked pork hits when you walk towards the door and in the building. The sauce is great, with vinegar and meshes well with the pork. Nothing we had was overly greasy and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

We were going to eat there today for lunch around 12 and we called ahead of time to secure peach cobbler as we have done many times before. And they were no lunch specials left. And the bad thing was that they thought it was funny. There phones were off the hook for almost an hour. I couldn’t order ahead. I love this place but that was rude. Why not have more food prepared on lunch menu if you are serving more people in the time frame for lunch. We come 20 minutes away and we were almost there. Sad!!!!
