Very good ribs. Good smoke and dry rub, no sauce needed. The onion rings were good as was the slaw. Nice owner that knows his stuff. Add a great sauce and you’d have a real destination BBQ joint.

First…I don’t review a lot. And I’m picky about BBQ. We showed up late on a Monday evening…not too long before close. We are from out of town.. Nice folks behind the counter. Hands on owner.
Pulling up on a whim, I didn’t have high expectations. But don’t judge this book by its cover. My buddy ordered a couple meals, and the owner threw a rib in for me to try. I’m here to tell ya…dang good rib. Tender, separating from the bone, but the meat was firm still. Cooked just right for me. Flavor was great. That texas style, maybe KC style bbq flavor.
Seems to me they really smoked for a long time, not thrown on with some liquid smoke. Real deal, I think.
Not sure if his sauce is home made or not, but it was well balanced sauce.
Had an extensive menu including kids options, and prices were really reasonable. Surprisingly reasonable.
If you are in Noel to float the river, or passing through… stop and get you some BBQ at this joint.

Everything was extremely flavorful and fresh. The green beans and potatoes had awesome Smoky flavor and the coleslaw was divine. My Fiancé fell in love with the ribs. Also the cheeseburger was seasoned perfectly. And the cinnamon apple pie and pumpkin pie were the perfect way to finish a smoky Savory meal. Definitely drop in while in Noel.

Smokin on the river BBQ has some of the best food. The chicken strips are delicious personally my favorite. I would eat the ribs every day for dinner if I could.
