We used Smokin’ Oak for our welcome party the night before our wedding at the Empire Room. OMG! I can’t say enough good things about this. First of all, Mary Beth was a dream to work with. It was easy to schedule and she assured us she would take care of all the details…and she did! We told her our budget and what kind of food we wanted and we didn’t have to worry about anything else. When we arrived, they had the party room set up for us with the food ready and several inside and outside tables reserved to accommodate our guests. Mary Beth and another worker were handing out cards to our guests and helping them learn how to use the tap system. Our guests LOVED it!! No one had to wait to get drinks and everyone thought it was so much fun! When we were nearing our budget for our drinks, Mary Beth came and found us to ask if we wanted to cut off or set a new budget, both me and my husband agreed that everyone was having such a fun time to keep it going and set a new budget. I loved that she asked and let us decide. We were fine with going over our original budget because everyone was having so much fun! I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Our guests are still raving months later. If you are looking for a space to hold an event, do it!! You will not be disappointed.

This place was such a treasure of goodies to discover! We’ve been to taproom before. We’ve been to Woodford pizza parlors before. This place?? It was the best of both worlds, welcoming and delicious, so many fun options and the food came out so quick! I got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was incredible.

My nephew had his rehearsal dinner here and it was a wonderful night! What a fun concept with all the different drinks on tap. Mary Beth was attentive and completely invested in making sure the night went smoothly and that every guest was taken care of. Highly recommend!

Very high-quality food for a relatively low price, and a wide variety of unique menu options to choose from. The frequent live music adds tremendously to the atmosphere along with fireplace seating. Considering the low-key setting, the service is fantastic and they bring your food to you despite not being exactly a formal sit-down place. Overall great experience.

Smokin Oak is an outstanding location to host events. Maribeth makes it easy to plan, schedule, and host parties of any size. They will work with you on food/drink selections and ensure it stays within budget. The accommodations are welcoming and comfortable – many options to choose from, including a back patio on warmer days. My favorite part is the food starts when your party arrives and keeps coming until your party slows down. Different pizzas arrive each time they check on you. Plenty of delicious sides to choose from. Give Maribeth a shout!

Started with the Garlic Cheese Bread. My husband chose the Italian Stallion with prosciutto, tomatoes, crushed red pepper, and basil. I did a BYO with Alfredo, olives, onions, and spinach. Everything was super yummy! Wonderful chewy crust, fresh toppings, and enough garlic to offend even ourselves.
They have a wall of booze where I guess you start a tab and it keeps track of what you sample. Priced by ounce depending on the drink. Very cool, we will have to test it out next time.
Didn’t know they had a live band. Playing classic rock covers, Wooden Music was super talented and we enjoyed them thoroughly!
Staff were extremely friendly and did a great job at keeping tables clear. ❤️

I’m bummed was hoping this would be good. Even though it’s woodfired, it’s definitely franchise. It reminded me of a Trader Joe’s frozen pizza. We have so many good pizza places I was expecting something a little bit like Dante or some of the other ones whether they truly like Sicilian or Neapolitan. And then I asked for a side ranch to dip my pizza and they charge me two dollars or something like that. I was like I’ve never had anybody charge me for ranch as aside for my pizza, but that’s cool. It’s a franchise. Gotta make a buck.
Place was dirty inside all the tables had leftover food trays on top of them and then the three big copper pendants over the main area look like they haven’t been wiped down since the place opened. The plants in the window have stickers on the side of them like they just picked them up at Menards. I would say it’s not a very classy establishment. I doubt it will be open in a year or two from now I don’t mean to be rude, but Omaha is trying to grow in the right direction and this just looks like a typical rundown franchise
The dough was like cardboard. Tasteless. I will not be back.

Stopped in for lunch and the place was completely empty. It’s a very nice space with different seating areas. Service was definitely what you’d expect from a counter service establishment – take your order, bring your food, see ya. Bathrooms are down a winding hallway shared with other businesses. Very clean. Pizza was good – not great – very fast service level. Tap wall for drinks made it easy to try a few things. Prices were fine.
