We have travelled all over the USA and this is one of the best BBQ places we have visited. Daniel is the head chef and a true pit master. He knows how to do BBQ right, low and slow and only serves fresh.. nothing reheated. The sides are also fantastic and the Mac n cheese is an absolute must. Have the 4 meat and have a sample of everything. It’s all tender and the sauce is just the right balance of tangy and sweet. Everything is made from scratch daily but keep in mind that the BBQ pit menu is only available on Friday’s and weekends, more days in the summer but get there early to guarantee choice of BBQ meats. Trust me this is a place you want to stop for lunch or supper. Bravo Daniel and Mercedes!

Omg, I wish I lived closer. Living in NC BBQ is taking pretty seriously. We had the pork, and wow, was I impressed. The fresh margaritas and specialty shots are absolutely worth a detour.

Traveling instructor looking for dinner and found the only restaurant open on a Monday night in Hot Springs SD. Amazing brisket chili and sliders. Sitting at the bar they have a great selection of beer and friendly staff. Great selection of hot sauce and the tacos were a great value and delicious.

It’s just not good in theory it sounds good but once you actually have it in front of you and taste it it taste pretty bad. Just look, believe me. If you see good reviews don’t believe them. The people seem nice enough but it’s just bad. Things got weird tastes or no taste

A great place to visit! Owner is a diehard Raiders fan, can talk football for hours with you. Great people and staff. Food, the food was AMAZING!!! I had the hog and mac burrito, was the best thing I’ve eaten all year. 100% recommend

Such a great spot! My family drove in after visiting Wind Cave NP and on our way to the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. The food was so good. The burrito with smoked pork and mac n cheese was incredible! Can’t recommend the place enough. It has a “bar” feel, which we were fine with, but do be prepared. Nice kids options too. The owner takes pride in the place which was nice to see as well.

Where to start. The food was outstanding. Had a chicken Philly sub. The chicken was prepared perfectly. Moist and tender, as it should. Fresh onions and peppers. However, it was the whole experience that gives them 5 stars. The young lady serving tables took time to let us know about the local highlight as of the area and places we should see. The pitmaster gave us a tour of his various smokers and filled us in on future plans. What restaurant gives this level of attention. As a backyard pitmaster myself, it was refreshing to know that I am doing things right and on the same path. Definitely will stop in again when in Hot Springs.

Pleasantly surprised. Food was pretty good. I loved the Mac n cheese. The smoke flavor was really good, but the meat was a bit dry. Service was a little slow as it seemed to be the owners trying to do everything. Worth a try, but can’t say anything super special. Locals hang out here.

It’s a really nice place! We had pork sliders for all appetizer, and then we each had tacos. It was totally decent! Could be the best food in hot springs by far! Also, their beer selection was very good! Like everywhere these days, you WILL PAY!! But that is everywhere, including hot springs. But it really is, good truly homemade food, and it’s very good! You won’t be disappointed here.
