Only open on Thursday and Sundays. We waited for a day to come here and it was a bad idea. Almost 2$ for a small bottle of water or over 2$ for a cup of water. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Food was unfulfilling and stale.

It is difficult to find truly good quality BBQ in the area. Lots of mediocre stuff. Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ is one of the best I have found and I’m a guy who loves his Q!
Starting from the aroma in the parking lot, you know you are in the right place. You can’t go wrong with a brisket sandwich with coleslaw, baked beans and a large sweet tea.
An easy and excellent item to cater the game on Sunday!

Anyone that gives this more than 1 ⭐️ is lying! If you want to be disappointed then eat here…Texas toast =thicker white bread( not toasted?!) basic BBQ sauce you can get from fast food chains, brisket is bland and not good at all. I’m from CT and we have far better BBQ. Service is poor as well. Not to mention the cashier isn’t a supporter of OUR President!

This restaurant is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in in my whole life and the food was awful stay away. The bathroom had no tissue to wipe my hands and there were some disgusting old rugs in front of each toilet that served no purpose and I’m sure they were just loaded with germs and discussed. Go to the bowling alley the food is much better or the mini mall stay away from this place.

Got the 2 meat, 2 sides and a drink. Spent $10.
Brisket was cold, not very tasty. Coleslaw had a rotten smell/taste to it.
Potato salad was good though! I think they just bring in leftovers to this location and reheat and sell them.
Sausage tasted like a slim jim. Won’t be returning. Probably best to stick to the smokin joes off base.

This place was absolutely forgettable. Food is nothing special, and gets cold quick. Its overpriced, stuffy, and not worth the wait. The staff are also extremely rude and entitled. They’re not open everyday because they can’t afford it. Let that be a warning to you.

Food was very good. Only open Thusdays 11-7.
The barbeque was very good for the price.
If it’s Thusday and You’re looking for a good option outside the Gateway in, Smokin Joe’s is a good choice.

Terrible excuse for Texas BBQ. After a long morning then waiting in line for 2 hours we were starving, hot and tired and this was terrible. The meat was boiled. Coleslaw from a bag, and canned corn…not even so much as salt added to it.

Ordered a burger that tasted like it came from a freezer and came with a sliver of lettuce and two pickle slices. Place was busy but service was alright.

The name is a complete misrepresentation! It is a bald face lie. Nothing is smoked and it is not BBQ. This place is a disgrace to BBQ and an embarrassment to Texas BBQ. I would rate it lower if I could.
