We’re bringing that food truck flavor we are known for into a brick and mortar. We will have some seating available but mainly we’re going to cater to takeout. Kind of like we do with our food truck, people come up and we’re really fast at getting the food out. It’s nice to have a place of our own here. We like being close to downtown, because we know a lot of stuff goes on downtown where people can easily walk over here. Our most popular items are brisket, and brisket with macaroni cheese. We are going to try not to run out. We’ve been adding more and we can’t keep up, we sell out on brisket every time. We also have special items, like our burritos and our mac bowls. Our mac and cheese is our most popular side.

Tried smokin jacks for the first time today and it did not disappoint! So good! We had a big order and they got it out to us in a timely manner and it was so delicious. Big servings for a great price. Very kid friendly as they have books and coloring books out and available for the kids. The staff was so kind! We will definitely be back. So happy I found this place.

So I planned a night out for my girlfriend and I. I took her to Smokin Jack. The food was some of the best her and I have tried in the area. The staff was amazing and they seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Definitely going back for more. My girlfriend agrees and wants to go back. Came in from out of town and wanted to try a “local joint” so I hit this place up on a whim. Excellent service for my online order, very filling portions for the price, and great food in general. The brisket was extremely tender with a delicious sweet bbq sauce. The macaroni was pleasantly “gooey” with its cheese. Also got the “loaded potato salad” and that one really surprised me with how good it was, considering how cheap it was.

My coworker and I are working in Owosso for a few weeks and decided to stop in for dinner yesterday. We’re glad we did. Fantastic BBQ, and quick, friendly service. The food was so great, I actually went back up to order another dinner.
The restaurant is small and only has 3-4 tables, so your best bet is to order for carry out. We will be back, thanks again.

I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich combo with coleslaw and baked beans. Unlike most barbecue places they only had one flavor of barbecue sauce. They are more like a fast food restaurant since they only have 4 full size tables and 1 one seat table. The combo comes with a drink but no name brand drinks like Coke or Pepsi products. They only have Fargo to choose from or a bottle of Sam’s Club water. The coleslaw was good. The barbecue sandwich was also good but the baked beans were dry and tasted more like pork and beans than barbecue beans. For the price of $14.00 I felt it may have been a little overpriced for the quality. This was my first time here and as disappointing as it was it will be my only time here. The music they were playing was Head Banger music which I do not care for. Then comes the extra charge if you want to use a credit card. No 3% will not break me. It’s the principle of it that a they can’t accept that cost as part of the cost of doing business. I posted the menu as of May 2025. While I can’t recommend them you may want to try them to see for yourself.

I got the order of the wings with Texas Hot flavor! They were so good. Just enough kick but not overly spicy. I also ordered the baked beans, and they were tasty as well. My order was Uber-ed to me and still was warm and quickly delivered.
