Went for taco & tequila Tuesday & had a great time. With four different types of tacos and $5 margaritas, you really can’t go wrong. We had flights of Mezcal, I’d never tried it before now or seen anywhere else. I saw they offer other types of flights not commonly seen elsewhere in the area too like such as Patron. Casual atmosphere with indoor & outdoor dining & live music. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside. The servers were friendly & attentive. All in all, a great experience for our 1st time there.

We stopped in for a quick bite. Never knew this place existed but we are definitely coming back. The tacos are good, the creative Frito pie was amazing and the cocktail we had was really tasty. As we were leaving a live musician was starting.

The place was really nice. They take u in and sit you at picnic tables. Had a live band there which we liked. Not to over powering. Drinks I had the iron smoke flight which was amazing. Wife have canal days which was made perfect. Food was all very very good. Portions may look small but it’s because it so spread out. Good amount of food. Only thing negative was after they sat us it took them 25 minutes to get a server. It was there busiest time though. Wife and I didn’t mind.

Great rib racks, got the 2 rack plate with corn and mashed and it was awesome! They had a small 2 person band for entertainment. Beer selection was limited which is key to compliment great BBQ. They should offer some pairings with craft beer from Fairpour just down the way. This is a great place to grab a bite after visiting some of the establishments in the rest of the area! I recommend, tell em Dave sent ya!

Pros: live music. The sides were decent. Not awesome, but better than average. We had corn, baked beans, (we liked that both of these had a mild spice instead of being sweet), Mac & Cheese, fries. Friendly service. Cool urinal in men’s room (yes, stretching to find all the good points).
Cons: the BBQ itself was average at best. Not so moist. Not so flavorful. Fairly pricey for 3 ribs @ $20 or 3 slices of brisket @ $18 (both plus tax and tip). And having lived in both Texas and Mexico, can safely say the style is neither Tex nor Mex nor what we knew as Tex-Mex. Wasn’t the worst I ever had, but like I said, average. The set up was also strange. You sit, then get up and go order at the counter, but instead of getting the food at the counter, go back and wait for server to bring food and drinks. Lots of BBQ places in Texas were order at the counter, get food and drink there, then sit at inside picnic table. Also some were sit and order at table. This was the worst of both.

This place kicks serious butt. I really eat, and this food was delicious. The pulled pork stole the show. Plus they let my 3 year old sleep right on the table since I was then only one here . It was $25 dollars but I would guess at least 4 pounds of food here. I’ll get three meals out of this 2 meat 2 sides platter

Nachos, get the nachos, now. We went for the first time last night and delightfully surprised with the meals we got. Starting with the nachos, the pulled pork shined while the whole dish was balanced in flavor and truly hit the spot. I got a Turkey plate with Mac salad (which the person taking our order did note it was a dill forward Mac salad in case I wasn’t a fan of dill) and sweet potato fries which were cook perfectly. The hubs got the 1/4 rack of rib plate with Cajun corn and Mac and cheese. Everything was really flavorful and cooked well. There are other items we’d like to try next, and can’t wait to come back. Check this place out!

Just came in real quick to try something out. I’ve never been here before, but their macaroni and cheese is out of this world. And I had some Blue Toad cider which was pretty tasty. Some kind of band playing in the background and great view of some trees. And it’s a Sunday!
Pretty cool place. I will come back for sure.

The flavors are good but the food prep is not great. They shred the brisket instead of slicing it which dries it out faster. The buns are basic like McDonald’s. I could easily eat 2 sandwiches because they are not large. Everything is also high cost and you leave feeling like it was not a good value.
