Food-fantastic. Price-very reasonable. Service-Quick and friendly. We ordered carry out and a variety of food for multiple adults and children. Everybody found something they loved. The brisket was probably the top earner of stars with burnt ends coming in at a close second! I love the Portabello mushrooms! The kids all loved the mashed potatoes and mac cheese.

We took an hour road trip just to eat here. Very clean and fun atmosphere. The service was top notch and exactly what you would want. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu was easy to read with some pictures. Good variety and decent prices too. We ordered cheese curds, burnt ends platter, and the pulled pork sandwich. (Baked beans, grandma’s potato salad, and beer battered French fries along with cornbread were our sides) Everything was very hot and presented nicely. The portions were much larger than expected. I immediately dropped a bunch of fries on the cheese curd plate for my husband. I loved that they served ranch with my fries. The burnt ends had a different sauce than the one served with the pulled pork. We both preferred the sweeter flavor of the other sauce. Personal preference. The burnt ends weren’t what you would normally get, but were delicious. They reminded me of deep fried pork chop bites, but my husband thought they were more like a delicious smoked pork belly. Either way, they were hot and yummy and you could see the smoke ring. The pulled pork was tender and juicy. The baked beans were spicy and one of our faves. The fries were cooked to perfection and the potato salad was decent. I think food is always based on personal flavor preferences. I would definitely eat here again. The waitress was sweet and very attentive. I loved the decor of the entire restaurant. Excellent parking with ramp and stairs to get inside. Plenty of tables with lots of space between. I wish we had restaurants like this in Sioux City. –

Loved the service. Waitress was awesome considering we were a party of 20+! Food was good. I got the smoked pulled chicken. It was a little more smokey than I liked but that is just a preference. Fiance got the Best of All Worlds and he loved it.

I went to college in this town and had been to this restaurant a lot and it was pretty good. I came back after about 4 years and this place just got better and better. Brisket was awesome. I like the changes to the menu on their top 5 items and I like how they give you the recommended sauce for the dish now. Portions are great – if you get an appetizer, you are going to need a take home box. Can’t wait to come back.

My receipt says my cashier was Tessa, so I hope that was her name. Phenomenal service to myself and the admittedly few diners there.
The food was good. It’s not the best barbecue in the world, but tasty enough, not dry, and I greatly enjoyed the sides. I had the brisket, beans, and fries (as pictured). Very good amount of food for the money.
I will be back. Next time, I want to try the nachos.

Service was great. Brisket was great so I was excited for the burnt ends. Was very disappointed with the burnt ends almost like it was made out of a different cut. Overall I would go back just not get what I got.
