Hands down the best bbq joint in pueblo. Went in with my family and were immediately made comfortable. My son was given a coloring page as well as invited to color on the paper table cloths. The glasses were huge and I barely needed a refill. The food was phenomenal. I really want to come back until I’ve tasted everything on the menu. Not only is the food reasonably priced, but it is also really decent portions! The burger pictured here is the kids meal.
The only snag was they didn’t have many non-soda kid options. I’d like it if they offered juice and milk instead of just blue Powerade.

Visited their food truck a while back when they were in front of Snap Fitness in Pueblo West. Great BBQ! I also loved the chipotle potato salad. Lots of food for the price and the gentleman at the window was very knowledgeable.

I’ve ordered take out several times. The food was great and portions were good. I am a bit disappointed that you’ve changed your menu and I’m not able to order the one thing that I really liked. The pulled pork sandwich Western Style with bacon, cheese and a pile of onion rings was amazing! Told my husband that he had to try it and the next time I went to order it you guys are no longer offering that option. My husband really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with bacon and green chili on it and again, you took away that option. It was worth the extra $2.50 to spice up the sandwich a bit. I was told it was no longer an option except for on the hamburgers. In my opinion, if I’m going to a barbecue place I want BBQ not a hamburger. So I’m hoping that you will put these options back on your menu because it was so much tastier than the pulled pork with coleslaw (good, but not as good as the western style)

The new location in the old A&W is bright and inviting. The pulled pork platter was much larger and even tastes better than when they were located in their mobile trailer. The staff was surprisingly friendly and welcoming to customers, well done! We will be back. Prices were not out of control, anyone who frequents BBQ establishments know good BBQ is not cheap.

A four star rating because some items on the menu were not available. Had the Rib Lunch meal which was very good. The atmosphere is very casual and the staff is very friendly. Moderately price BBQ meals including a child’s menu. Handicap accessable, take out available, dining in from one person to a group. Will return to try some of the items they were out of.

Absolutely delicious! Great food, friendly staff! Been eating Smoking D’s since the smoke truck day’s. And the quality has not changed! If you want great BBQ without the huge price tag check them out! Mmm!

There’s no place like this anywhere in Pueblo!! Fantastic food, the ribs I had were done perfectly and served with special baked beans that were real tasty. The wife loved the fried chicken sandwich with special potato salad that was unique! Even the pickle that came with our food was tastier than ANY I have ever eaten! It tasted like apple cider vinegar pickles!! Meg was a great server, very attentive and efficient. We will certainly return here quite often!!

The food is great best green chili ever!!! Unfortunately we went on Saturday they were out of pork belly and messed up our order. But they remade it and I was very happy with it, and on Monday they were out of everything and telling people they are closed at 11:30am. We got our food before our drinks. We were the only table in the place no excuse for that bad of service. Hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon I would love to go back but need better wait staff before we do.

Had my first experience at Smoking D’s and it was great. The cook in the trailer was very helpful in helping me choose off the menu.
Pulled pork sandwich excellent. Tri tip platter more than enough portion wise.
Meats were tender. Sides tasty. Had the potato salad and green chili corn.
Am looking forward to the next time I patronize Smokin D’s.

Portions are good. Food is fair at best, not fresh. Fries, which are super simple to make fresh are frozen. The service is extremely slow for an actual BBQ place. With the amount of time you have to wait, things should be hot and fresh. Still looking for some good Texas or Carolina bbq in Pueblo.
