We are beyond pleased with this restaurant. Not only did they accommodate our family of 5, 30mins prior to closing, they also exceeded our expectations.
Food was amazing, great tasting, a fresh. All sauces were great!
Server, staff, and atmosphere was next level.
We ordered the Big Kahuna Belly Buster and it was more than enough for to feed our family.

You will not be displeased by eating here.

On a side note, he have ate out nightly on our 2 week trip and this was hands down our best meal. We left happy and satisfied, with leftover to take to our hotel.

Well Done, Well Done!

Dave’s is one of the VERY FEW places that offers salmon on the menu which is a plus for my pescatarian husband who loves BBQ. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly and attentive. It’s better than Georgia Boys.

There is awesome service and fast seating. They have very good ribs and worth the price! Do not forget to leave room for the desserts! (Kentucky Bourbon Pecan pie and Beignets)

Excellent service by the manager (sorry didn’t catch his name) for helping me print receipt again. Dinner was great too and love the juicy chicken. Mashed potatoes are amazing as well

Brisket was so overdone I couldn’t pick it up with a fork. It split into little dry pieces. More like jerky than brisket. Might be the worst bbq I’ve had in the five years I have lived in Colorado. That’s saying a lot. Man I miss home.

This is definately the best place to grab BBQ in Longmont. We come here often, and order take out even more often. If you dine in there is never a wait to get a seat, and the food always comes out fast and fresh! The menu features a few specialties like fried catfish and fried okra, which are both always made to perfection. I also love their ribs and the Carolina pulled pork sandwich. This is one of the few places that I feel like I can get something different every time and never be disappointed. Plus the staff here is super awesome, always 10/10 service!!

First off, great server! She was friendly, knowledgeable, generous, and patient. 5 stars!

Secondly, the atmosphere was great. Very chill, street parking was sufficient, and the music was not overbearingly loud or obnoxious.

Thirdly, the food! Yum!! We prefer vinegar-based BBQ, which this was not, but it was still very delicious. The ribs fell right off the bone! Pulled pork was just okay; not dry, but not exceptional. Cornbread is hard to mess up.

As for sides, the coleslaw was very typical and the potato salad had a nice dill (or some sort of herb) touch to it. We liked the white mac and cheese with some crunchy crust to it, but overall felt the sides weren’t exceptional or bad—some noteworthy aspects, but overall are just kind of typical, satisfactory BQQ sides.

Now, the appetizer tray?! That was delicious. Just get that and don’t both with much else. The fried fish was juicy and soft. The onion rings were PERFECTION (if you like onion rings, which I love); whole, juicy, tender onions that just break with your first bite, coated in a sweet batter that crumbles delightfully in your mouth! The wings were excellent—crispy on the outside without gratuitous breading or sauce. The sliders were very straightforward with a soft bun, and two sliders let you sample the meats (brisket and pulled pork!). The fried pickle was thick and juicy with a nice crumb breading, so delicious.

We got so much food that we had leftovers for two more meals. And that’s just with ordering (1) appetizer tray and (2) two-meat plate. It is very delicious.

Sauces were very sweet in general, just an FYI. Even the “spicy” one was not spicy.

I really feel mislead. I ordered and paid $125.00 for a family rib platter that stated it woukd feed 6 to 7 people. The rib protons were ok. The sides were ridiculously small. Each one was enough for only 2 people. That is misreorentation as well as a rip off. Had I known the sides were so small I would have changed my order.
Cutting corners on a $125.00 meal is ridiculous. Never again.

Wow, very surprised how good the food was.

The best onion rings I’ve ever had. Great flavor, giant rings, crispy crunchy batter with tender onions inside.

The pork belly sandwich was fantastic as well. The pork belly was cooked perfectly with tasty caramelization.

The red and beans and rice were the best tasting I’ve had as well.

I’m normally not one to gush about BBQ, but this was great. Can’t wait to come back!
