Smokin Bones has recently teamed up with The Travellodge to bring you great tasting American Barbecue food served daily in the restaurant. Choose from Hickory wood smoked Baby back ribs, 16 hour Brisket cooked Low n Slow or a house favourite of Applewood smoked pulled pork as well as many other American classics.

Tried Smokin Bones Swords with high hopes and empty stomachs… but sadly, we left disappointed. Some of the food came out cold – which was really upsetting as we were starving. I mentioned it to the waitress, and to be fair, the chef personally came over to apologise, explaining it was food left over from the previous shift.
He kindly offered complimentary chicken wings to make up for it, which was a nice gesture and appreciated. But honestly, that kind of slip shouldn’t happen at all, especially in a place that specialises in BBQ.
The wings were decent, the chef was professional, and free parking is definitely a bonus… but the overall experience left a bad taste.
Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

The food was delicious, with good portions that come with generous sides. I recommend trying the platter of bones because you get a bit of everything. The staff was also great, very friendly, and the atmosphere is super relaxed. Perfect for eating out with friends or family. Definitely a go-to spot

Food was great, served correctly and hot. Mac and cheese was a bit light on salt but overall good and tasty. Fries were well-salted, firm and appetizing. Ribs were so perfectly cooked that the meat literally melted in the mouth.
There was just one staff member and this affected the serving time and how long it took to get the bill.

Fantastic Food, Great Atmosphere!
This place is a gem! The food is absolutely delicious—I’ve tried the ribs and burgers, and the portions are much larger than you’d expect for the price. The vibe here is great, with a very American feel to it. I usually visit on Mondays or Tuesdays, and it’s perfect because it’s not too crowded. You can really enjoy the music they play without much background noise. Highly recommend.

I ordered and paid €60 in total including the delivery fee. Honestly, I was really disappointed. The portion sizes were shockingly small—I’ve never received portions this tiny from a takeaway before. Normally, with a €60 order, I’d have leftovers, but not this time. It’s hard to see from pictures, but all those boxes added up to just two plates—one for me and one for my boyfriend.Ribs were mostly bone, brisket was tougher than expected and mac n cheese was awful. While the food itself was not too bad, the portions were nowhere near worth the price. Definitely not great value for money. Just get takeaway from a Chinese

Everything was perfect! Pulled pork was out of this world! Unfortunately they didn’t have baby back ribs but they exchanged that for a very good brisket. We ate very well and we were very happy with everything! The food is amazing and the price is good as well!
