We were a group of 10 and we all loved it! Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions are generous.
I loved my chicken tenders with honey glaze 10/10 (14€) and sweet potato fries as a side.
The staff was extremely patient and accommodating.
Prices are similar as any other place around the area. A burger is around 18€ and ribs/brisket with sides included around 25€
Highly recommended.

Smokin Bones is an absolute hit! The food is simply amazing – full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The nachos with cheese, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream were crispy and delicious, and the main dishes — ribs, wings, corn, onion rings, and mac & cheese — were a real feast for BBQ lovers.

The portions are large and satisfying, and every bite is a perfect mix of smoky aroma and great texture. Add to that some excellent beer, a pleasant atmosphere, and super friendly staff who pay attention to every detail.

It’s the perfect place to hang out with friends, celebrate, or just enjoy a great meal.
Definitely 5 stars – I’ll be coming back for sure!

One of the best steak restaurants we’ve ever been to in Dublin! I had made a reservation through Early Table, but we needed to go a day earlier — and they still welcomed us so kindly. The service from the girls was excellent, and the food… absolutely amazing! What a fantastic BBQ! I’d recommend this place a thousand times over!

This is not a restaurant review, rather a review of the home delivery BBQ box..
The box itself is beautiful and the items are well packaged and chilled.
We had the 2-3 person box and tbh you could have fed four with ease.
The meats are all Irish and are individually packaged.
We had the pulled pork which was really tasty and moist, the brisket was divine, it was cooked to perfection and had a beautiful texture. The baby back ribs were really tender and succulent and had a lovely tangy glaze.
It came with three sauces a Memphis bbq, a South Carolina sauce which had a lovely hint of mustard and was my favourite and a Korean bbq which was punchy and sweet. The side of coleslaw was tasty and really set off the meats and the buns were just the right size with a fresh feel..Topped off with a nicely cooked corn on the cob in salted butter was also excellent and not over cooked and mushy.
All in all this box was great value and we will be having again.. Excuse the photos they were taken as we ate.. Worth every £/€

Some of the starters were really good and the max n cheese was good! I BBQ sauced were also good. For me the ribs and brisket were quite dry though. It was also very very cold in the restaurant (we went in January) and had to eat with jackets on and still were cold.

“The Spire” was huge! I still can’t believe I could fit my mouth around all that meat!

The flavor of the burger was really good, especially the bites with bacon, those bites were perfection! Without bacon it did feel like it was lacking a flavor (because it’s 4 patties — 16oz of meat)! Honestly if I’d asked for a bottle of ketchup that would have done it for me, we did have BBQ sauce on the side from the hot dog dish, but I’m not a fan of that on my burger—I know some love this which is why I mention it.

The onion rings were slightly under done for my taste, the raw onion flavor was a little too strong.

But the fries were perfection!

My wife got the ranch salad, she said something was off in the flavor, definitely not the same flavor as back home in the USA. Noting she felt a flavor was also missing in her dish.

I did try the chicken in her salad and it was really good!

I’ll take a moment here to suggest that our American taste buds could be a part of the problem as our expectations were off.

The mozzarella sticks came with a salsa, I love marinara, but knew when ordering that it wasn’t going to be there. These cheese sticks were alright, not amazing. You could argue that not having a cheese pull is a feature, but I just felt like it wasn’t the greatest cheese in the world. But I also struggle to eat mozzarella sticks without marinara. I ended up using the salsa as my dip even though it wasn’t really my cup of tea.

My father in law had the ribs and I tried 2 as he had left overs. They were pretty tough and dry compared to what my expectation was. The flavor was great though! *My wife says her rib was totally fine, I think I had the two end pieces so that might be why.

I also got to try the sweet potato fries which were delicious perfection!

Overall I would recommend this restaurant, just go in with the knowledge that some flavors might not match expectations.

As for the staff and atmosphere, that was perfect as well! 🙂

I was underwhelmed with the food. Place was tight and busy. However, the staff made space for me at the counter/windows view. The chicken thighs were not the greatest. The roll was not soft. However the fries, slaw and Irish lemonade were all good. Truly disappointed in BBQ experience.

The portions were really generous and the service 10/10! The honey glaze sauce was something that i never tried before and it complemented the meat really good. Definitely will be back!

Great value with the Wednesday deal: 1kg bucket of wings and beer for €22. Get some loaded chips on the sides and that’s good portion for two.
