We were looking for a good BBQ place & this popped up on Google maps. What a great place to eat & I’m glad Google maps suggested this place too.
The lady who took our order was very nice & suggested a few items & I’m sure glad that she suggested them also. The brisket & burnt ends was off the chart. The beans was good also. The other sides we ordered wasn’t as good as the beans. So do not sleep on the beans.
We will be back to eat more good BBQ from Bob!

If you are looking for the best BBQ in the Springfield area this is your place! I cannot recommend this joint enough. The meat is fall off the bone, deliciously flavored, and perfectly smoked. You cannot go wrong with any of the sides, but my personal favorites are the beans and potato salad. They sell out fast so come early, otherwise you will miss out. Sometimes they will close shop early because they’ve sold out of everything, but that’s just a testament to how delicious their food is.

The burnt end sandwich was delicious. The beans are also delicious. The Mac and cheese was not the best I’ve had. Potato salad was not like by myself nor my boyfriend. I did like the sauces a lot.

I’ve been to smokin bobs 3 times, and all three times they have forgotten a side from my order. The sausage and pork were fantastic, and the service was good, very nice workers. But the brisket and burnt ends have been over done and dry every time. So over done and dry I felt the need to leave a review about it.

Today was our second visit. We can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is hot and lean and delicious. The prices are great and the sides are good too. We had the pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and a side of beans. Both were fantastic. We will tell all our friends and be back here soon. Great service too.

Ribs full off bone great flavor no sauce needed. Smoked potato salad was amazing. Will say get here early they were sold out of most meats by 5. Will return.

My sister and I went to Smokin’ Bobs yesterday and had a phenomenal lunch. I ordered the burnt ends sandwich while she ordered the brisket sandwich. Both were outstanding! Not only was the food great, the service was excellent as well.
The next time I am in town I will definitely be coming back to visit.
