Nice atmosphere, quick service. Food was disappointing for the price point. $44 for my brother and I, two plate dinners and two drinks – so I was expecting pretty good food for this price in a small town. Brisket tasted good but was chewy, very lean, and clearly not smoked long enough (I asked for the fattiest cut possible and it barely had any at all). The coleslaw tasted sour and was not fresh, like it had been sitting in a fridge for a week. The potato salad was good. Their tea was gold peak.. which I should have seen as a red flag, I wish they made their own tea it would have been so much better than the gold peak which tasted stale and thick. Overall, we would probably come back again to give them another chance but we wouldn’t get the brisket again.

We loved the food. Brisket grilled cheese, loaded mac n cheese, brisket sliders and the hickory burger. I dont like homemade fries but this were good, not floppy or mushy at all. We would go back for sure.
