While nothing is ever perfect, our experience was close. They have a very friendly/helpful staff, which is always good. Today was our first time in and the food was really good! My husband got the combo plate and was quiet the whole time, trust me, that means it’s good. I got a sliced pork sandwich with coleslaw, coleslaw was top notch. We will definitely be back with the family in tow. Oh, and for the prices, we didn’t think they were bad, especially for the amount of food you get, besides, the prices at the big fast food chains are getting crazy!

Highly recommend!!! The food is amazing and the service is excellent. Very down home feeling. We got the Smokey’s combo for 2 so we could try all the meats. Each of them delicious and cooked perfectly. The ribs were so tender and very meaty. The beans and cole slaw were so yummy. The carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had.

Very good food. Friendly service. Order at the counter. Has a pickup window. Had the sliced pork. Coleslaw is delicious. Baked beans are good. Garlic bread should be more toasted but has good flavor. A little above average pricing for BBQ . I’d call it a Do Over though.

The food was fantastic, However they’re still beginning so they don’t have it together very well in there but give them a year or so and they will be sonny’s competition believe me!!!! I give them 5 stars because the food was great and their attitude was just as good…. the only thing I didn’t care for was that they don’t serve bbq pulled pork….

Best bbq in we’ve had in Florida so far!! This was our first visit. We had the Pork A’la Pankey & the Smokey’s specialty sandwich. Very delicious & generous portions!! The pork was smoked perfectly & tasted amazing. All the sauces tasted great too. We will definitely be back, and soon!!

Ribs were over smoked and greasy, with no flavor. Liked the coleslaw , beans had good flavor but soupy and hardly any beans . Garlic bread needs .. garlic! In Addition ,, All though my review is a bit harsh , it’s fair to mention I will give them at least two more tries , i consider the fact that they are new , and the way things are currently with the pandemic. I think it’s only fair to give them the benefit of the doubt

Love this place! The family vibe is super welcoming and the staff doesn’t disappoint. Food was great; the we enjoyed the pulled pork and the 1/4 chicken. The carrot cake was great too! Looking forward to our next time

2 stars just to be nice as we never ate. No Ribs or beef as they were out. Last straw was they have no mac & cheese on the menu. Really? Will try to get back to actually try the food sometime!

Very good food. Nice staff, I would have liked to sample the ribs but they were out of them. The pork and chicken combo was a great deal and very tasty. Oh and get the coleslaw its the best!

Ok, I’ll admit after living in TX for 4 yrs where BBQ is dime a dozen you learn good from bad BBQ pretty quick. Smokey’s BBQ falls into the Bad category unfortunately.
Staff was friendly, the food….. well:
Sliced Beef: dry as can be which is either an indicator of over cooking or not turning over their food often enough. Based on the empty parking lot I can guess.
Ribs: overcooked and excessively fatty/greasy which is an indicator of using the lowest quality of meat to save on their cost.
Potato Salad: void of any flavor
There’s far to many BBQ places along Rt 1 to try, avoid this one…..
