We stopped on our way back from Rainy Lake. It was like driving into a dream Drive-Inn. We sat at the 57′ Chevy table and ordered pasties and the briskette sandwich with root-beer and iced tea. The food was spectacular! The briskette was the best this side of Texas: smoky, lean, with a nice crispy edge and red-line. We live about 300 miles away but will be looking for excuses for a return visit. The service was excellent too!

Incredible pastys’ and pork and beef sandwiches. Great staff that can handle our super scooter meeting each year with LOTS of cycles. Can’t ask for a better place to eat! Totally worth the drive up from the twin cities.

Smokey’s is an awesome little drive through right on 53! All of the staff are very friendly, and all of their food is delicious, so get whatever sounds best. I highly recommend getting a side of onion rings and a shake with whatever you choose.

I picked up some pastys on my way from International Falls to the Cities, and just had my first K & B pasty today. They’re phenomenal. I’m glad I picked up some frozen for when my family comes to visit…if they last that long! A good pasty is hard to find, so look no further!!

The burgers taste like candy and the ribs taste like smoke! Loved every bite and wish I lived closer. Eat in the diner portion. It’s everything a diner should be.

The food was amazing. I normally cannot eat ribs without sauce but the ribs are so good the sauce was not needed. I can’t wait to go there again.
