We needed to come and sit for a few hours to get some work done and found this place! Super cute and cozy. There are several different seat options and good food and drink choices. The food is good sized portions and the price is reasonable. The workers were all very nice.

Great location. One of the smaller locations of Smokey Rows in the Des Moines Metro area, but big enough to find a place to sit and work on your laptop or to meet up with friends. Same drink menu as other locations with the same excellent flavors and quality for both drinks and food.
It is connected to a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh.
Update: went back about 5 days after my original visit and it was the same staff working as the first time. They all recognized me and treated me as a friend. Great customer service. Will definitely be back again.

Hit and miss. Products are good, but the wait times are unacceptable. I have waited at the counter for ten minutes and not even been greeted by anybody. The baristas seem hopelessly overworked, so I blame management for not having enough of them to run this place. It wasn’t even a peak time to be there today and I just walked out because I didn’t think it would take over ten minutes to get my order in, and then who knows how must longer it would have taken to complete my order. Ridiculous.

Great local coffee chain with fun and courteous employees. Lots of drink options, breakfast and lunch options, and ice cream! There’s a ton of various seating options too for small groups or one on one meetings. Free WiFi and even a fireplace to relax by!

I cannot emphasize enough, just how fantastic this location is, especially the staff here! They are so awesome to deal with each and every day, they are friendly and sincerely awesome to deal with. I always get my usual order and they reverses it up…heck, they remember and always treat me great, way to go ladies!!

Update: Some changes were made and service has gotten much better!
Love the product, hate the service. Ordered two muffins (both were cold), flavored coffee (was not hot and got regular blend) and wait in drive thru took a really long time. I’ve ordered coffee in the afternoon on several occasions and the coffee is always barely warm. I love their coffee and sandwiches but would love to see improvements to their customer service.
