Have been a few times and have always had an amazing experience. This time unfortunately was pretty disappointing. The service, including today, was 5 stars, however a few aspects were highly disappointing.
1. The sweet potato fries and fried fish were DARK and burned. I’m actually surprised they were okay serving it.
2. There was no kids menus, so I looked online (no problem) – bill came and kids meals were $8 when online it’s $7
3. The buttered pasta kids meal was horrible. Zero salt and was maybe 1 cup of pasta. Not sure if this was because they knew it was for a 1 year old, but it was NOT anywhere near worth $8! I feel totally ripped off.
Not sure we’ll give this place another shot since it the quality to price just isn’t there anymore.

Had an incredible time at Smokey Oaks Tavern. Every dish and drink we tried was absolutely delicious, and the quality is top-notch. Smokey Oaks Tavern did not disappoint! The buffalo chicken sandwich was AMAZING perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of heat. Hands down one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches I’ve had.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and seriously good food. We’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is not bad. I went there with my team, and they all liked it, but I was so happy. The service is really good, the restaurant is not too loud, and the food is okay, not as good as I expected. We reserved ahead of time, so there was no wait. I personally ordered the BBQ set and it was way too much for me since I my stomach was somewhat filled from the appetizer, wouldn’t recommend order that if you already ordered appetizer.

1/2 rack of BBQ pork ribs also the cod fish and chips. EXCELLENT food. Ribs were tender and juicy with delectable sides, the Cod was tender huge pieces perfectly cooked as well. Staff was friendly, atmosphere very comfy clean. We’ll be back soon and alot.

Went there with my wife for their Valentine’s Day couples meal. Food and service was exceptional. Server was very attentive throughout the meal. Owner stopped by to check on us also. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I went for lunch recently. He had the buffalo chicken sandwich and I had the fish tacos. Both were delicious! Well made, and a bit messy, but worth it. The price isn’t bad for what you get. Their hand cut fries, strawberry lemonade, and the Pilsner were great! The atmosphere was just as good. We will come here again if we’re in the area.

I convinced my husband to come here on date night and we were immediately impressed by the cozy, friendly atmosphere.
When we sat down, that’s about where it ended. The table was really sticky, and from the time we ordered food to when it was served was close to 30 minutes.
I got the ribs and my husband got a burger. Ribs were good ,but the burger had no flavor aside from the gallon of barbecue it was swimming in.
I asked for a beer when our food was delivered and by the time our check came 20 minutes later, it was never received. We were not charged for this beer, it should be noted. However there were more empty tables than not.
The employees seemed very nice if a bit innatentive. I couldn’t help but feel that if we had sat at the bar itself, we might have been checked on.
All in all, this is a very cute place with a lot of potential but could use some tuning as far as service and quality.

I was hoping that I would get the opportunity to try their smoked meat dish but unfortunately it wasn’t on the menu that day. My experience was still delightful with the taste of their pulled pork tator tot appetizer. I had the fish and chips for lunch, the tarter sauce was amazing. The best of my experience was when our waitress was able to provide a special coffee to accommodate the delicious chocolate brownie with ice cream desert. I will definitely keep you guys in mind when I’m in town
