Today was my first time at Smokey Mo’s BBQ and I must say how amazing this food was/is….the brisket was phenomenal, the creamy corn ..delicious and the potato salad amazing…and the BBQ sauce was so so good. Ordered breakfast tacos. 3 potato egg and cheese, 3 sausage egg and cheese and one brisket and bean. The brisket was the DRYEST brisket I have ever had in my entire life (no exaggeration). None of the tortillas were cooked even slightly. Do not buy breakfast tacos from this place. They have great ratings so I’m sure lunch and dinner would be better but steer clear of the breakfast tacos.

I have visited several Smokey Mo Barbecue locations over the years, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, and the location off 620, and I’ve generally had consistent experiences. Because of that, I expected the same level of quality during my recent visit to the Georgetown Wolf Ranch location.
Unfortunately, the food was not consistent with what I’ve experienced at the other locations. The ribs were dry and lacked the tenderness I’ve come to expect. The brisket was also dry and required barbecue sauce to make it more enjoyable, which was surprising given the quality I’ve received elsewhere.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, as I’ve had positive experiences at other Smokey Mo locations and hope this one can improve to match the standard across the brand.

Nice place to grab a quick bite for lunch! Their pork ribs and chicken were AMAZING. Great texture & seasoning. My fiancé got sausage & chopped which was okay. Their BBQ sauce wasn’t good at all which was the biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Their food doesn’t need it.

Smokey Mo’s: the food is fantastic, and the staff is phenomenal. Smokey Mo’s in Georgetown is a favorite of ours. Expect a clean restaurant, exceptional customer service from a great staff that always greets you with a smile, plenty of toppings from the topping bar, and satisfying meals every time. I am addicted to their mouth-watering sausage, mac and cheese, and potato salad. We have almost conquered their entire menu, and we have loved it all! Their BBQ is spectacular and they have all our BBQ favorites.
For this visit, we came in as a large group for a late dinner and the staff rocked it. Everyone was starving, especially the kiddos, and the staff was so gracious and friendly, and they got our food to us fast with everyone’s plate prepared to perfection.
If you are looking for spectacular Texas BBQ and exceptional customer service, this Smokey Mo’s is the place to go.

I’m not sure why I’ve never tried this place before but if I could give it 100 stars I would the food was fast, the food was great, the place was super clean. I’d say food is better than most BBQ places. I’ll definitely be back!!!

$17 plate. Not too impressed. Questionable portions. The pork burnt ends were actually very good, but everything else was subpar. I wouldn’t eat here again, but if I were forced to, I definitely wouldn’t spend money on the sides.
The app I ordered from said “chopped brisket,” and I was disappointed when I saw chicken and pork in the mix. I went to the Smokey Mo’s website and it really just says “chopped.” Chopped what? Who knows.

I often forget Smokey Mo’s is in wolf ranch. We came in the other day, and dinner hit the spot. I recommend the brisket sandwich, with or without their bbq sauce, is good. Usually the toppings station is tended to, this was not the case today. No onions, very little pickles. We’ll stick be back.

This group of employees except the girl needs customer service training. Those guys don’t smile nor greet you when there. Just not the type of servers people like. Today, they’re out of the pork loin again, and always out of some sort of meat. Maybe it’s time to find a more friendly BBQ place with a nice atmosphere, because this type of behaviour can’t happen. Not friendly employees at all.
