I spur of the moment pulled in on my way home from work tonight. I went inside Smokey Mo’s tonight instead of drive through to get take out. The kids working were all super eager to help me. I ordered with one guy, the second guy was already putting my order together, and the guy working the drive through window asked if I wanted pickles, bread, sauce and onions. It was all ready before I was finished filling my drink! The food was great. It always is. The place was clean. It always is. The customer service though, was amazing. I wish I would have thought to get the boys names, but I didn’t. I have been in customer service for over 30 years. These fellas were good team mates to each other, and made my “customer experience ” great. Thanks for everything!

Not impressed. Ribs had little smoke flavor. Brisket had good flavor and not too fatty but wife had the brisket sandwich and it was full of fat. Meat portions were small. BBQ sauce had a tomato sauce taste. Sides of Mac & cheese, Cole slaw and potato salad were good. Just arrived to Spring Branch, must be better bbq out there.

Everything was hot and fresh! Picked up to-go and they had it ready on time and friendly staff. The smoked turkey is juicy, sausage is delicious and the chopped bbq was meaty and no fat. Potato salad was fresh and the beans are some of the best. You have to try the chocolate cake and banana pudding, yummy.

Went in to pick up two sliced turkey sandwiches and one slice of crumble apple pie. Received an email from Smokey MO’s that I had a$5 reward that was going to expire soon. Clerk tried to apply reward to my purchase and was not able to do it. So manager stepped in and said there were actually two rewards so applied larger amount reward to our total purchase. Turkey sandwiches were full of tender smoked turkey slices. Enjoyed the apple pie also.

We are regulars at Smokey Mos and the restaurant is like our second kitchen. Staff is always friendly, food is always fresh and delicious. Im not joking if I say we eat there at least once and often twice a week. Highly recommend!

I like the flavor of the brisquit, sauce, jalapenos and potato salad. I prefer marble or a mix of lean and marble. The smoke flavor is great. I also like the chop bbq sandwich. If you eat inside, it is comfortable and usually easy to find a table. If you can I suggest eating in. Sides are really good, especially the potato salad.
