The food is good!!!! I dont know what these other reviews are about, but from walking in, being seated and then being served delicious food by a very nice server, it is for us!!

Great place for a quick breakfast cooked to order.
My daughter loves their sunny side up eggs on hash browns. My Smokey Joe goes to Denver omelette was so good.

Good food – far better than the pictures do justice. Service on the other hand was absolutely abysmal. Our waitress never came back after beverages (we had to ask another one for refill), and had to ask someone separate about our meals (which was brought out by someone else!). When it came time for the check, no one was there so we went to the checkout counter to pay and the handler walked away! Went to speak to someone else who called the checkout handler back so we could pay/leave. Would never revisit this place again. Spend a little more and go to William B’s Steakhouse right down the hall – at least they care about their patrons and their food is outstanding.

Overall, food was good. Nice and friendly staff. Our waitress was outstanding in her attentiveness, and brought everything to us incredibly quickly. The catfish and mac & cheese was superb.

Does it normally take an hour for a salad? The facility is beautiful. I loved the antiques and pictures. But it did seem gloomy around lunch time. We wasn’t sure if you were actually opened.The staff that did talk with us were very nice though. As you can see in my pictures, there were no customers other tham my table with family of 6. We were sitting at the table in front of the large scale with the brooms and dustpan behind it.

We came here because the buffet was closed on Monday. We all ordered the catfish. My 2 friends got it fried and I got it blackened. There was a lot of it and it was fresh and tasty. He only oroblem was that it took a long time to deliver it. I think we waited 35 minutes, but then again it was a lot of fish to fry I get to Seaside and I got mashed potatoes and gravy with ear of corn. The corn was a little mushy but I was happy with it. My friends got the sweet potato and if they were not very good they were full of bitter cinnamon. They didn’t cook the cinnamon down enough. You female server was very nice and polite and so was the cashier and the manager. We had a good experience and I would recommend this although it was a little pricey because the catfish was $16 each.

This place has pretty good food if you can get it. The service is below standards. Took me 30 minutes for eggs and grits and bacon breakfast, and the manager didn’t even offer a comp for the food. Still had to pay.

What is the deal with a 10% to go service charge, I Was told this goes directly to Samstown for what im not sure… but just so you guys know.We will no longer be tipping on to go orders which sucks for the guys that work there.. Sams town is taking money out of their pocket… I will not pay a service charge For you guys to make more money Which you make enough in the casino and on you’re ATM machines…. This is seriously ridiculous… Let these workers

The food was fantastic and hot, they have weird hours. I am used to Vegas where everything is open all of the time. They have an awesome special Sundays for a big steak meal but I missed it. I got the shrimp po-boy and it came out fresh and delicious.
The server was very nice and was on top of everything. Thank you guys so much. And the pricing is not that expensive like you would expect inside a a resort.

Smokey Joe’s is fantastic! They have the best boudin balls and Creole dishes in Shreveport! See for yourself and you will be satisfied with their freshly prepared meals along with A+ service. I will return soon. Yum!
