Service was good and the waitress was friendly. The smoked Teriyaki wings were delicious. The steaks were good, but not great. The corn was decent. This restaurant has TVs to watch sports. They were able to easily seat our party of eleven and could have pulled more tables together for a larger party. They do call aheads which took the stress off of trying to find a place for our group to meet up to eat.

I visited Smokey Bones Orlando on a Friday night after a comedy show date night at the Addition Financial arena with my hubby and our fave date night couple. It was around 11:30 pm, and we were seated almost immediately near a window in a booth on a cold Florida night (below 40°) and the AC seemed to be pointed right at us and set to cool.

We had the best time there for Mothers Day. The pork nachos were plentiful, the brisket grilled cheese yummiest. Allison, the general manager, was so sweet checking on everyone. Shannon, the server was on top of everything and back of house prep and cooks fantastic

Today was not a good experience. It took almost an hour to get our food. We got seated in a section where we were being served by the bartender (we were not made aware of this when we were being seated). She seemed to have too much to do, as she was having to wait on all parties in this very large area. Too much for one person. My wife noticed some food sitting in the kitchen window for about 10 minutes. We should have walked out and almost did. My wife walked over to the bar as we were about to give up and leave. She inquired about our food and was told that it was still cooking and about to be plated. So we sat down and decided to give them 5 more minutes. A couple minutes later, my wife watched the bartender go grab the same plates that she observed in the window and bring them to us. Still cooking, huh? So we stayed and ate. The food was decent. There was no acknowledgement that the food took forever or any form of apology. The restaurant wasn’t even very busy at the time. We got there at 7pm. You’d think a manager would walk around the place and see how guests are doing, but that did not happen. We’ve been here a couple other times in the past several months. Haven’t been very impressed, but not too many other BBQ options nearby. Sonny’s down the street went out of business a while back. Anyway, after today I don’t think we’ll be returning any time soon.

I got the smoked wings with lemon pepper dry rub. The wings tasted so good, however, they were a little over cooked as there were black spots on the wings. It was just too crispy for my liking. Our server seemed to walk pass up without refilling our drinks. We had to motion for her attention. Other than that, I would return.

Unbelievably Great. My wife and I had the BoneFire for 2. You definitely must try this. You will be Amazed. Sarah was our Server for the evening and did a Fantastic Job. Of course, we had leftovers. This is by far the Best BBQ in the Orlando area. Don’t forget to ask for Sarah. She’s Awesome ❣️❣️❣️
