We love going here for lunch because the bowls are a great price and perfect size. I love the mac and cheese with pulled pork. The extra sauces were a nice touch. I found the brisket to be a bit dry so not worth the extra fee. Felisha was our server and she was great. Will be back again for sure

I love to visit Smoky Bones whenever I see one. The smell of the restaurant is very inviting. I usually get BBQ something. This time, I went healthy. I got salmon with mac & cheese and broccoli. The meal was lukewarm. The service was rushed as the waitress was the only one for the area. I was there the night before, which was a way better experience that prompted the return the next day. I did take pictures of day 1 food. I did get a create your own meal. On that day, I got pulled pork, sausage, and bourbon glazed chicken breast.

Service service service, saw the waitress 3 times. Took 20 min for her to take a drink order, didn’t have a drink in my hand for 40 minutes. If I would have just had a drink it wouldn’t have been so obvious of a wait. Appetizer was good but portioned strange, little and big pieces (took a pic). Food when it did come out was pretty good, great ribs. Plates were sitting under the heat lamps for sometime, songs cheese on his burger was nasty from sitting.

As we crossed the border to Buffalo, the border officer recommended that we tried this restaurant instead of the usual Buffalo wings joints that all tourists know and love. And since the restaurant came recommended by someone of authority, we just had to try it.

When we walked in, the girl didn’t make eye contact when she seated us, didn’t smile. It took quite awhile for the waitress to ask what we wanted to drink we waited 15 minutes before she took our order. My husband ordered a steak done with just a little pink. It came out bloody. I ordered a salad with pecans and strawberries, as well as other items in the salad. There wasn’t a whole lot to the salad for the money we paid. It took another 20 minutes before I could get our server’s attention to let her know the steak was bloody. We were almost finished eating. She took the steak and took it in the back. She never apologized. The steak was still bloody. We paid good money for a very unsatisfying meal, poor service, and no apologies.

Mac and cheese was extremely bland . Their Texas toast taste like the frost toast you get from grocery stores . The bbq baked beans are just simply ok . I got their sausage it was ok still a bit rubbery mouth feel . Their brisket wasn’t not fully smoked still a bit rubbery and not enough bark , and was a little dry . Hardly no flavor . I Hope this establishment take a look into quality of their food . Especially for the prices their charging . I got the 5 dollars addition of brisket you don’t get a lot . And another note their bathrooms for men at least floors was sticky and the sinks still hard dark black stuff under the rim of the sink . I won’t be coming back . But I would say if you do choose to come here, just go to long horn next door or olive garden . But seriously please fix your quality of food and / or adjust your prices . Cause this isn’t good bbq and if you need sauce for the bbq to be good that’s a problem.

My husband and I went out to dinner 4/8 and also had a little surprise. We had an envelope with the gender of our baby. Asked the waitress (wish I could remember her name!) to make one of the non alcoholic drinks. She was so excited to be apart of it! Came back with this strawberry drink. Had two other girls with her and even covered the drink so we didn’t see. They shouted “it’s a girl!”. Made it so much better! It was so good and we are sooo happy we are getting our little girl! Thank you for an unforgettable evening! The food was also delicious. Will definitely be back!
