Located just off US 75. Seen the sign for Smokey Bens BBQ on US 75. Decided we would stop in on our way to Topeka. We never know what to expect when we walk into a restaurant when we travel. Smokey Bens BBQ Was definitely worth the stop. From the pleasant and polite server to the very tasty pulled pork sandwich everything was great. The homemade BBQ sauce is very good.
So if you are traveling US 75 and are coming into Yates Center, K’S definitely stop in and try Smokey Bens BBQ.

Stopped in on a whim just passing thru and ordered the sampler platter, and also the Smokey Rueben….Everything was incredible…The size of portions for the money are generous, the ribs are juicy and succulent and flavorful and fall off the bone tender, and the showstopper was for sure the Smokey Rueben!! I had to order a second one just to take to work the next day for lunch, and it was just as delicious or more so the next day. Also, the coleslaw may be the very best I have ever had. Service great and price was even better.
