We had Smokey and the pig cater our dinner for our 100 guest wedding and they were amazing!!! They were on our preferred vendor list for our venue, which was emerald Ridge Farms so I could tell that they would be worthwhile.
I have so many guests from all over the country that came to our wedding that talked so much about how their food was so tasty. We had come before our wedding and tried their food and also had loved it so much. It was important to find a really good barbecue place for our wedding.
Their prices were also very affordable for catering, and we also had their staff serve buffet style. Every single thing that they had was so tasty no notes. Also worth noting that they included meals to feed our vendors in the price.

Now THIS is BBQ. They smoke all their meats, you can taste it. The meats just pull apart, tender, and flavorful. The Mac n cheese was a white cheddar and creamy (highly recommend). They have five different sauces, all pretty solid. Customer service was great! Highly suggest the 3 meat plate to try all their meats.

This place is amazing! The woman who took our order was so helpful in figuring out what/how much to order, and let us customize our order so we could try the pork and the chicken. The Memphis sweet sauce was delicious and the meat was perfectly tender. My husband loved the coleslaw because it had pickles in it, and we both loved the loaded potato salad. If you’re visiting the area and looking for an incredibly affordable but delicious dinner, visit Smokey and the Pig!

Great little spot with delicious food! My husband got a plate with pork, 2 sides, and hush puppies, and I got the special – smoked chicken with a mango jalapeño slaw on a roll with a side of cucumber salad. The meats were perfectly smoked, and the sides were amazing. My husband loved the mac & cheese so much that he went back for more. I’m so glad we skipped our original plan for lunch and found this instead. And I’m grateful that one of their two outdoor tables opened up right when we got our food.

This place was Awesome! If you want REALLY GOOD BBQ/smoked meat, this is the place! The full rack of ribs was done to perfection!! All of the sides were excellent including the hush puppies! The staff was great at answering all our questions. They don’t have seating, just carry out.

Great food! You walk in, order, and it comes in to go containers. There are 2 tables there and it isn’t super warm inside so I suggest planning to eat it elsewhere. We went down to the whistle hop brewing company to eat. The food was so so good! The pulled pork is delicious and so is the sweet potato thing that’s a side dish. Really can’t go wrong with any of the food here.

It’s always hard to give any one BBQ place 5 stars. Cause I’ve still not seen one that is definitive for me. But these guys do a great job being tasty, simple, and to point of Smoky BBQ. Sauces are really good also. Definitely worth trying.

Went here last weekend. The owner was very nice. She let us try the meat and the sauce. They have family meals and individual ones. We wanted to get some of each meat to share. She made the suggestion of buying half a pound of each. We picked baked beans and Fry’s. Had a choice of hush puppies or buns. Had two large sweet teas. Less than $40 before I added the tip. We ate lunch. Had supper at home and had enough left to freeze for a meal later on. Covered seating out side. Can take it with you. Worth the trip from Leicester. Great food very friendly people. Glad we found it. Will be back. Ohh one sauce is sweet. The other I think they said was sweet with a little spice.
