Honestly the star of the show is the Chicken Salad Sandwich, it’s a GAME CHANGER. Smoky, sweet, and savory, it’s the perfect blend of flavors. Their hash is also top notch, some of the best in the area. I’d recommend them on those 2 things alone but the chopped pork and brisket is pretty good too! But honestly, I’d come back every day for that chicken salad sandwich alone. Always great and speedy service as well. Looking forward to a sit down restaurant.

I’ve seen this truck all about the csra & finally decided to give it a try. I went on 3/20/25 for myself & my coworkers. Service was quick. The guy working the truck has great customer service. I wasn’t a fan of how each item is priced completely separate, no plates or dinners. Very small portions for the prices. I order (1) chicken sandwich, (1) macaroni, (1) hash, (1) potato salad. The food overall was 5/10. The sides had ABSOLUTELY no flavor.
I tried it & it’s a no for me but maybe right for you.

Great BBQ Joint!
Stopped by to pick up some BBQ from a Food Truck we seen at Pollard’s Corner in Appling, GA.
Spent just over $50 for a lot of good stuff for 3 people.
This location does not offer military discount.

Now for the BBQ Main Event (Pictures added to post):
Main Entrees:
Half Rack Smoked Ribs – the ribs were cooked well, great smoke flavor, and fall of the bone bite. Definitely a great meal option! A full rack will run $32, but if you want good ribs; the price is fair!
1lb Pulled Pork – the pulled pork was spot on. Great smoke flavor, perfect ratio of meat and fat, great color! This entree has the perfect natural oil moisture that makes it an easy bite to get down with little to no effort! Highly recommend this item for any guest.
Sides:
1 Pint of Hash and Rice – this is not your ordinary corned beef and hash. This side tasted like a puréed pork dish with some citrus undertone and bbq flavor. This item pairs great with the white rice and I recommend trying this dish.
Regular Side Momma’s Mac – this dish is a very good Mac and cheese meal. It could use a bit more seasoning, as it was slightly bland. Great item for a side, but could be a challenge for picky kids.
Regular side Green Beans – definitely a great BBQ side. These green beans seemed yo be cooked with some type of smoke additive, but is spot on. I would recommend a little more bacon for texture and natural savory flavor!

We had their food at the grovetown Christmas festival and the ribs and Mac n cheese were delicious! We didn’t try it until we got home and regretted not getting more.

I am at an event with zero access to anything in the boonies of somewhere in Georgia. They said they had “food trucks” and then there was only ONE food truck. I am NOT a big BBQ fan. In fact, I was in Memphis last weekend and ate at, I guess, the most famous BBQ restaurant there, and it was a once and done. I was hoping this food truck would have a non-BBQ thing because I would prefer ANYTHING other than BBQ, but they didn’t. I tried the pulled pork and the potato salad and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! I was pleasantly surprised!!!

I was not impressed. The seasoning was just caked on top of the ribs. They were very tough and had no smoke flavor to them at all. The collards were tender but tasted off, almost like fish! The pulled pork was very dry. The portions were small. I will not be returning.

Finally tried SmokeShow at Columbia County’s Boom! In the Park! The pulled pork and spicy vinegar bbq were both great- meat was not at all dry. Unfortunately, the potato salad was a dead ringer for Sam’s club. A good BBQ spot needs to excel in both meats and sides, and SmokeShow is just not there yet. Maybe someday the CSRA will offer excellent BBQ, but we’re not there yet.

Stopped by the Pollard’s corner location. Had a very good pork sandwich with hash and rice! I’ve always said “if you offer BBQ but not hash and rice, you’re not a BBQ restaurant you’re fast food” … Smoke show BBQ has some of the best hash and rice I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!
