When you walk into this little shop you know you’re gonna get good tasting, smoky BBQ. The owner was very friendly. He makes everything from scratch including the sides, rubs and sauces. Got the big farm and had plenty of food to last another meal or two. The sausage and chicken were amazing. And the ribs were great as well! And you definitely can’t go wrong with the baked beans.

The SmokeOut BBQ has a good selection of sandwiches, sides, combination plates and to go options.
They have covered outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking available.
We ordered the jerseys chicken and pulled pork and a variety of sides. We enjoyed it all.

First time trying out this place. I got the Little Farm, so I could get a sampling of the meats. I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all, but who doesn’t enjoy leftover BBQ?!
Overall, the flavors of the meats were great! The sausage was extremely juicy and had a full mild flavor. The brisket, even though it didn’t have a strong smoke ring, the meat was juicy and tender with a solid beef flavor. The pulled pork was also juicy and tasty. The chicken was the only letdown. It had a great flavor and solid smoke bark, but was a bit on the dry side. Finally, the Mac and cheese was ooey and gooey, a mix of what grandma used to make paired with good ole BBQ style.
The service was friendly and prompt. Although, I was disappointed not to be offered to enjoy my meal in the shade of of their picnic area. Lastly, I’d point out that even though the Open sign is on, it looks dead, like no one is there. Almost didn’t go in, but I’m glad I did. I’ll be back to enjoy some solid flavorful BBQ.

Best BBQ we have had in a long, long time. We ordered the “Little Farm” which had all the meats. The brisket was amazing! It was juicy, not much fat, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chicken was moist and smoked perfectly. The smoked sausage was tasty and had a nice snap. And the ribs were so tender that they fell off the bone. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned and the sweet BBQ sauce was delicious. Excellent BBQ! Worth the drive!

My wife, myself, and our kids tried Smoke Out BBQ for the first time today and we have to say this is BY FAR the ABSOLUTE BEST BBQ in the area, probably in the state, possibly in the country. It’s the best we’ve ever had and it’s not even close. “Fish”, the owner, was incredibly kind, generous and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was top notch. Everything is fresh, made by him from the rubs and bbq sauces to the meats and sides. The pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, the brisket and ribs were tinder and cooked to perfection, the jerk chicken was incredible (juicy and delicious). The baked beans and collard greens were out of this world good! We literally cannot say enough about how amazing this was. Anyone saying this was less than delicious and giving less than 5 Stars is either a liar or delusional, no other way to state it. Thank you so much, Mr Fish. We will be coming back soon and often. (Oh, and I don’t leave reviews if that tells y’all anything).

Being from Texas, I have high expectations and this is really disappointing. The brisket tasted like they cooked it in an oven and not smoker. You can tell from the light smoke taste on the outside and zero flavor on the inside. And the lack of bark. Ribs and sausage were a disappointment too. Price is okay but to my knowledge places east of the Mississippi don’t know smoked meats. I’m not trying to sound mean about a place, but when I’m eating a Johnsonville brat and putting this down, it should say something. There are some folks from places that don’t smoke meat I understand their liking. Just not mine. Just a heads up to those who look for decent BBQ outside of BBQ country.

Wife had a half chicken and I had the pork plate with beans and collards. The rub is very garlic flavored, not exactly our style. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Collards and beans are good. My pork was not good. Odd flavor, not pork and the bottom half of serving was in water juice and mushy.

Visiting from Colorado and found this place. WOW! Just WOW! The brisket was thick cut, moist and tender. I even got a burnt end!! The GA Sweet bbq sauce was the perfect balance of sweet with a lil bit of heat. The pork was juicy and tender. The sandwiches are very big! We shared with my parents, and everyone had a full belly! The gentleman running the place was very respectful and kind. We wish him much success with such a supreme product! Also, try the whiskey baked beans! SO GOOD!

This is the real deal. The owner, master chef, flavor designer knows what BBQ should taste like. The brisket and pork… so much flavor! Then you add sauce . The collard greens have sneaky spice. The baked beans… I’m not a fan of normal baked beans. This man doesn’t do normal. The flavor and add-ins, the sauce. He created a masterpiece of a side. You need to stop here if you appreciate small town gems with big flavor.
