Awesome place. Food is very good. Prices are competitive. Great place for ribs. Portions are big. Just bring a jacket if you plan to eat in doors. Service was great, our server Stacy was knowledgeable and helpful. She went above and beyond. I highly recommend.

Last minute decision to carry out for supper on a Friday night 6PM. First time visit. The parking lot was packed, a good sign! We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered 2 racks of ribs off of the ala carte menu and one side of BBQ beans which were phenomenal and one side of coleslaw also very good. It was plenty of food for 3 adults. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Stop searching! This is by far the best barbecue in the Fort Myers area and probably all Southwest Florida period! Admittedly I am partial to authentic, approachable, simple and proud places, and this checks all the boxes. Amazing baby back ribs. All things Pork! The fried okra is outstanding and DO NOT not miss out on those baked beans.

Overly sweet food and dry meat.. the corn lacked any and all flavor like it was boiled for a day or two. No seasoning really on anything. The pulled pork was desert sweet and the sliced was bland.. the regular bbq sauce however was unexpectedly tangy and a good pairing for the beef. The beans were pinto with bbq sauce dumped in them… all in all probably won’t be back and I’m hoping this isn’t how bbq is done in Florida.. one piece of garlic bread was perfect and the other mostly chewy. However the saving grace of the meal was the fried zucchini sticks.. both the sticks and ranch were spot on what I craved when I saw the description. The people were super friendly but it felt like I was eating in a fast food bbq place.. also what’s with the no backing in allowed at the parking spots?? No marks off in it was just curious since it’s my preferred way to park.

I ordered the rib dinner. The ribs were alright. Some were more tender, others were more tough. They did not come with any type of seasoning or dry rub on them and no sauce, so they were very plain. The barbecue baked beans had an overall decent flavor, but the beans weren’t cooked all the way. Prices were good. Although we were unimpressed with the food, the building was nice and service was good.

The food is the best! My only complaint was we were in the back dining room and the place was packed. The air conditioning was cranked and we were uncomfortably cold and our food got cold fast. I will go on weekdays in the future and avoid weekends when it’s packed! We definitely go back though!!

Nothing fancy here, a well seasoned establishment with lots of character. Just the way I like it. Service was great, fast and efficient . Sunday is a rib special day. 1/2 rack or full rack 13.25 or 17.99. Comes with 3 sides and 2 pieces of garlic toast. They have 2 versions of their own BBQ sauce on the table sweet and regular. Great pricing and good value. Ribs were tender and flavorful. I have 2 comments on the ribs, not enough smoke flavor for me, and the full rack I had was quite tiny hence the 4 stars. I know the pricing is good, but that was a thin and small boned rack in my view. The picture makes it look larger than it actually was. Great choice of sides. BBQ beans were good, maybe a little sweet. Black eyed peas average. I did see a few of their Bar B Que feasts go out and they looked awesome. That will be our next dinner, a feast for 2 @ 39.99. I enjoyed my meal and I’ll be back.

Food was just ok. The chicken was bland and dry. The rib meat was very good but no smoke flavor. Corn was probably frozen, soggy and no flavor. Prices are great for large portions but doubt we’ll ever go back.

I’ve been a customer of Smoke’n pit bbq for over a decade! It’s the best bbq in fort Myers hands down. I’d like to give a special shout out to RYA (she has two different color eyes) at the drive thru! She was so sweet a huge genuine warm smile on ready to welcome her customers waving as we drove up amazing customer service and took our order and had our food bagged and ready to go in.l no time!
