If I could give this place a “0” star I would. This was my husband and I first time trying this place today and let me say it will DEFINITELY be the LAST. I am highly upset we spent almost $100, and my kids and I still have to go buy food elsewhere since it was so poorly prepared.
We ordered two 4 ways (ribs,chicken, brisket hot links, yams beans greens etc) for a family of 6.
This is by far the worst BBQ experience we’ve had. Let me first start off by saying when we got into our car we checked out food and the hot links were damn near unrecognizable since they were so burned and dry. My mom described them of looking as if they were CREMATED smh.We asked for macaroni and cheese however once we picked our order up she informed us that there was no more. However while waiting for my food I observed the chef placing Mac and cheese on four other plates ordered after us as opposed to granting us our side. I addressed her about this and then was informed they were only scraping the last Mac for those plates and that “I wouldn’t want any of that since they were scraping it up on other people’s plate.” Point is, i paid for mac and cheese but was later lied to because instead of getting my side I requested they’d rather make additional money on 4-5 other plates. The ribs were burned, we never received our baked beans, the greens were decent but almost too salty, chicken was okay, we did not get our mild BBQ sauce instead we got super spicy sauce I can NOT feed that to my children. After all this she was generous enough to give us a complimentary banana pudding but I would have rather had the dinner I ordered and I would of rather been served food that they themselves wouldn’t mind eating. Needless to say we are now on our way to order pizza smh and we won’t even feed this mess to our dog. Highly disappointed and this restaurant definitely needs to do better. If you continue to serve food like this you should not be in business!

The food is amazing. My boyfriend and I split the whole rack of ribs and 2 sides and still had tons of left overs! Meat is smoked in house and made with Soul! We will return..

Didn’t know what to expect, ordered the brisket but they were sold out. Had to order the ribs and I must say, THEY WERE THE BEST RIBS IVE EVER HAD. I’m trying to think of a time where I had better, can’t seem to remember. Had the yams and greens, both delicious. She is definitely a go to for great tasting BBQ. I don’t generally give reviews but I had to say something because the food was awesome! Oh and very reasonable prices!

We had ribs and brisket, greens and yams, and hush puppies. The meats were great. The brisket was tender and moist. The ribs were full of flavor. We had a few overdone ends but they did not detract from the overall enjoyment. The greens were just the right balance of bitter, salty, and juicy. The hush puppies were pretty good. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The service was excellent. The place was clean. The music was an added delight.

Found this place on accident, was hungry while having a day driving around the town with my girlfriend. She was hesitant on going here, but my nose knew good food when I smelt it.
Food was amazing, not to expensive either. Service was good and the atmosphere was cool. I was grooving to some oldies and eating a really good bbq pulled pork roll with some candied yams.
10/10 would eat again.

Let me start by saying I don’t feel my review is fair or for the locals. However if you have ever had Down South or Texas BBQ you will be disappointed. I found that the meat was tough. I’m use to meat falling off the bone. I also found it to be dry. The sides were runny and lacked flavor. Very disappointed

Cashier was very sweet and attentive. But the food was awful, cornbread was hard and under cooked. Potatoe salad was gross…ordered for 5 people paid only got served for 3, asked about other 2 dishes and cook looking at ticket tried to place blame on cashier. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. two thumbs down.

I couldn’t decide between the brisket, ribs, or chicken so I got the 3 meat dinner. All 3 were amazing. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.
