The outside of building at night is pretty dark and made me a little nervous. When we walked in we were immediately greated and told we could pick our seat. Order 2 sweet teas (got some to go because it was perfect), I got the burger with cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms and lettuce, with a side of fried okra. He got the 6oz filet with a salad and loaded baked potato. Burger and Filet were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! If we were coming back home this way we would stop back by. He even told me to leave a review and he never does that 10/10 for flavor and quality of meat. Price was also cheaper than what we’re used to paying for the 2 of us.

Don’t be fooled by the rustic simplicity of this place–these folks are serious about your meal! Eating here is just a great experience. I had the hamburger steak (sans toppings) with a baked potato, roasted asparagus, Texas toast, and tea. And I left very satisfied.

My husband and I stopped there on our way back from Memphis. Several from my husbands work had been there and said the food was good and great prices. We got the steak for two. 32 oz sirloin, two salads, two sides, Texas toast. The salad bar was really nice with big salad bowls. the steak about 1 in 1/2 thick and covered a regular plate. It’s a great place to eat. I enjoyed sitting down but I most enjoy ordering my food to go. My son works there as a bus boy and dishwasher, he works hard. The boss and his wife are so nice and even help there employees. The cooks and the waitress work together to serve well cooked meals. Most of all i live 5 minutes from a good restaurant.
