Scenic, casual eatery inside Anakeesta theme park dishing up smoked meats & Southern nibbles.

This place was fantastic with exceptional service. I didn’t get to take many pictures because everyone was devouring their meals The ribs were savory, the pork over mac & cheese was flavorful! The corn bread was sweet and delicious
The wedges were mid ♂️ But I can let that slide
They also had heaters set up over the tables and when it was 20° that was appreciated
Overall a fantastic experience on top of a mountain and to all the 1 stars complaining about the price.. The PRICES ARE ON THE MENU WHERE YOU ORDER.. If you can’t afford it, go get a $10 pretzel but don’t come on here to hurt a delicious establishment..

The setting is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains that make the meal even more enjoyable. The food was top-notch – the smoked meats were tender and full of flavor, and the sides complemented the dishes perfectly. I especially loved their BBQ and the variety of sauces available. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal. Whether you’re looking for a casual bite after exploring Anakeesta or simply craving some amazing barbecue, Smokehouse Anakeesta is the place to go. I can’t wait to return

The location is beautiful. Sitting to admire the astonishing nature is perfect. Food some items were tasty like the mac and cheese and the sweet potato but the brisket was either old or felt more like boiled beef than brisket.

Very pretty views, food was mediocre. Meat was dry. Green beans were good. Brownie was very rich, corn bread was moist. The food was okay, service was less than okay. It was expensive for what you got, but the views were awesome. I wouldn’t recommend it though.

Wow. Great view indeed.
We were planning on eating at Cliff Top, but my kids hit this place first. It had similar views and chairs, so why not.
Pretty much no service. You pay for you food, seat yourself, and eat. Simple. The food was good. BBQ, pulled pork. nachos, pop, etc. good stuff. Everything was seasoned and tasted good. Expensive, but what do you expect.
With the food and view, you cannot beat it.
Highly Recommended.

The wings were alright in taste. What really helped make them good was the sauce you can get on the side. The restaurant is usually busy just because of the nature of the Anakeesta but the staff is pretty friendly. The atmosphere is a mix between family outings and roof top restaurant due to the view.

Wrapping up our day at Anakeesta with a visit to the smokehouse was an absolute treat. The food exceeded our expectations in both flavor and quality. The meat was expertly smoked, falling right off the bone with that perfect smokiness that you crave in good barbecue. The mac and cheese was exceptionally creamy, striking just the right balance of cheese and comfort. The beans were packed with flavor, complementing the meal perfectly, and the cornbread was so authentically homemade, it felt like a warm hug on a plate.
Dining outside added another layer to the experience, offering us a panoramic 360-degree view of Gatlinburg’s charming landscape, the serene countryside, and the majestic mountains that frame the view. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the transformation of the skyline was magical. The city lights began to twinkle, casting a whole new vibe over the scene, turning the evening ambiance into something truly spectacular. It was more than just a meal; it was a memorable experience that blended great food with breathtaking views.

Chicken sandwich was incredibly dry with 0 condiments. Just bread and dry chicken bits (mostly bread) the brisket platter was below average. Meat tasted ok but was just sitting in some juice for however long and didn’t look appetizing at all. Bbq sauces were pretty good. Sides were hit or miss. The beans tasted basically like bushes canned baked beans. The Mac and cheese was just average. The sweet potato casserole was my favorite thing on the menu. Tasted pretty good. I would order that again. The rest I would pass on. Cornbread was pretty dry and the peps had this pretty nasty dirty looking plastic straw that they give you. It doesn’t taste right with that straw. But it could be mental because it looks gross. Staff was fine but seemed annoyed or bored at their jobs and weren’t cheery or friendly. The view from the tables though was really awesome and relaxing.

The view alone is enough to rate this 5 stars. The food was very good also and exceeded my expectations. If you are visiting Anakeesta you can’t go wrong with. Meal here.

Good food, pricey. Great views and a good place to rest after playing a while.
Was looking forward to try more foods but the lady at the chondola refused to let us on with the cinnamon roll we were saving for a late night snack. She’s told us we either had to eat it or throw it away, so if course, we ate it.
